The French army were hardly cowards. The command was way too conservative and stubborn in both WWs in the face of German innovation and tactics.

Someone please take granny’s phone away.
People will believe anything on the internet.
I can post nonsense on twitter right now under some cool sounding handle, link it here and get a thousand upvotes. We’re a nation of Facebook grannies.

We finally opened the strait. After all these years.

re: What happens if the college athletics bubble burst?

It will take an act of congress for the bubble to burst. Too much interest, including the growth in online gambling, for it to burst otherwise.
Younger generations won’t remember the way college sports and CFB in particular “used to be.”

What’s wrong with having debt?
All the sudden no one cares about the debt and spending. Bookmarked for the next dem president.
I’m too lazy but you can easily google the negative impacts of a $40 trillion dollar debt.

Gas prices are the bottom of my complaints about costs over the last 5-10 years
I suppose that’s okay, with the understanding that gas prices directly impact the price of everything we consume.

If Trump and GOP claim to be America First, then what are we doing?
Starting more wars, building billion dollar ballrooms, and useless walls though national parks?

Global warming is real
I know it’s a non starter around here, but nature doesn’t care about politics. Whether you “believe” global warming is happening is immaterial. You’re paying for it now, with an escalating bill the rest of your life. Insurance, utility bills, food and water costs, etc.. the list is long.
Not to sound gloomy. As a famous economist said… in the long run we’ll all be dead.

Rory had a hot opinion but Scottie was more accurate.
Jon Rahm, Bryson and the top LIV guys will absolutely add value to the Tour. Who are we kidding?

re: Is CAVA the best chain ‘build a bowl’ restaurant?

CAVA is better than Chipotle who I partially blame for the ballooning of the population (along with similar concepts).

With Paxton you really don’t know where those huge contributions from Jerry Jones and Cody Campbell are going.
But one can take some educated guesses based on his past.

I really miss the excitement of CFB signing day.
I also miss 5 bowl games on New Year’s Eve/Day that all mattered to some degree, even if it was just winning a huge bowl game. What a glorious day New Years used to be.
Time marches on and money changes everything.

And we wonder why Microsoft needs to import H1Bs to fill jobs.
So glad online gambling wasn’t a thing when I was that age.

Most Texans regardless of politics don’t want a wall in Big Bend. It’s not a hotbed of illegals being so remote and rugged.
Along the lines of that last word above, it would be really impressive to put up a functioning wall in some places where they’d need to.

What’s funny and really telling about the tribalism now… Paxton has continued the corruption and pay for play during the campaign and shows no signs of stopping.
