Why won't Iran just agree to the terms of surrender?

It will buy them the much needed time they seem desperate for. They can always drag their feet later.
They can turn over the uranium (that seems to be the sticking point) and likely get some more later from China or Russia.
From my understanding, the enriched uranium can be traced back to a specific source. Is this the sticking point? Are they covering for their source?
I just can't understand why they're so willing to die on that hill.

The Iranians keeps saying they will never hand over their uranium. That’s a hell of a hill to die on. The rest of the country will be in rubbles but their uranium stockpile will be protected in the mountains. It would be kind of hard to spin those centrifuges without electricity

Probably bc they don’t want to surrender if I had to guess

correct, that would give the USA a win and more then anything Trump. Don't you think Obamanites on telling Iran never surrender right now and would say some Rino's also.. Iran has played footies with the EURO's for years.

There is speculation that the source might be the US.

They are zealots. By definition they are unreasonable.

Bro, this is their religion. They aren't going to give in. They would rather die than give in to Trumps demands. When will you dummys understand that?

Uranium One deal, that's why it's sticky.

I doubt most of these folks we are dealing with are radical zealots.
Radical zealots dont offshore billions of personal wealth and send their relatives to live in California and spend it.
Its just when to make the deal, no different than drug cartel leaders. Pablo and el chapo chose poorly, on the other hand have we heard anything about El Mayo and his clan

I can see this angle, and agree. All the more reason for military to keep whacking guys. Their time to cut a deal keeps ticking away if guys keep getting whacked.

Who exactly is speculating that?
Not a "senior unnamed source" I hope...

Trump has said recently we're getting "the uranium dust back".

This! Because some very powerful people know that once we get our hands on the uranium, that we will be able to trace it back to Hillary. After that, it’s just a matter of time until they’re exposed.
These are the people who are telling Iran what to do.

Iran gets how far out we've stuck our neck on this one. They know Trump can't afford to commit troops and if he keeps shelling cities, more dead schoolgirls are going to show up in the news again eventually. They have an advantage and they know it. Pretty clear Trump knows it, too.
Posted on 4/29/26 at 6:24 am to 4x4tiger
Highly likely that at least some of the Uranium stock landed in Russia, and ultimately Iran, via US mines, and the agreement to allow its release from the US was because Uranium One donated 148 M to the Clinton Foundation in 2015.

Yea I’m so shocked they won’t just give the US what it wants.

I thought we eradicated the nuclear capabilities in 2025 when we dropped the huge bombs ….
No?
