Structural steel is not galvanized.
Edit... is normally not galvanized. I've built a lot of buildings and factories in my 40 year career. Very view places did I ever see galvanized still used for structural members. The only building I can recall is in UPW buildings on trenches and grating at floor grade or below. The structural support steel in these buildings were still not galvanized.

This is just a stupid thing to say. I'm sure it could/would/does provide benefits. A plate number, clothing description, time and location of offense, any number of things useful to LE.
The question is...Do the benefits outweigh the liabilities, misuse and abuse in this example.
BTW, I'm no lawyer or expert, but I think USSC ruled OK for observation in public as there is limited expectation of privacy once out in the streets. Others can and probably will weigh in on that.

Me neither, but I happened to watch for 30 minutes that night and saw the play. Imo it was a crappy call. Both players were going for a loose ball that was falling hard from above. The American players foot caught and pinned other players ankle accidentally as they were both reaching the ball simultaneously. It happens. There was no bad internet from either player, just good aggressive play from both.
Reinstating the USA player is ultimately the correct call imo.
