The SEC played soggy biscuit today and we were the last to nut. Now we have to eat the biscuit.

Soggy biscuit? WTF? Are these aggy biscuits?
I read a book about Alexander the Great and he said that Afghanistan was the a-hole of the world and marched his army right out of there. Didn't want to conquer it, own it, tax it, or have anything to do with it.
Maybe we should have followed his course.

I guess there goes the historical advantage…

Congrats - you just played yourself.

Played myself? No not at all. As a Texas fan and graduate, I don't have to select a particular set of years to show winning superiority. Just reference all time record, all the time. The aggy on the other hand has to root around for a particular grouping or time-line. For instance, before leather helmets, after scholarship limits, since 1985, after going coed, after mandatory military requirement, etc. Always some stipulations.

Nope, all time record is all that's needed, and the win superiority is growing every year.

re: How to invest $100k

Posted by Victor R Franko on 11/30/25 at 3:30 pm to
If you're serious about this real estate project you should place the 100k in easily accessible money market account. Some things to think about if you haven't already....

1. Who knows what opportunities may arise, even during planning stages, that you may need cash to secure.
2. Will the deporting of illegals place a burden on this project. Would the ability to show/prove financing help secure labor if needed? Cash in a money market, not stock market, might help.
3. You may be kicking yourself if this short term investment devalued enough to kill the real estate project.
4. Real estate has been blah for the last few years. An upcoming project may have good timing in less than a year if interest rates continue to drop.
It's still real to me, damn it. Those two teams gave me a twitch that took years to go away.

I’d like to see them and Texas tech

Me too. Those tortilla flinging SOBs got that aggy number. The aggy will crater like Jerry Quarry against a black heavyweight.
Gee Mo Neddy, that fig gonna be hell to get back to Baton Rouge once she goes to NOLA.

I guarantee you aggy is going to claim a conference championship for this year. Expect to see it chiseled on their wall soon. Book it.

More soothing as the lead grows every year. Not to long from now, that FedEx run of aggy wins is going to be rolling off the 40 year counter. aggy going to have problems searching for a favorable selection set of years for wins. That's just the way it's going to be now that the game is being played again.
Uh, can we leave Maryland out of any Texas discussion, Please?

and BYU.

That run of games from Jackie Sherrill's FedEx days is getting swallowed up with time. The win discrepancy with Texas has been and is growing.
The best part is aggy knows it too.

If Ole Miss is way understaffed for the playoffs. Texas in?

Maybe Chris Del Conte did make a phone call here, a deal over there after all?.... :dude:
One of the talking heads in a pregame or halftime show this week commented that the selection committee would consider Kiffin not coaching as a negative factor for Ole Miss.
Nah, That's Children's food. Don't eat fried chicken that doesn't have bones in it.
Did Johnny frickin Football even set foot on campus when at A&M? :dunno:
I think he wants to showcase his coaching in a playoff situation so as to enhance recruiting to LSU.
He's had to use the portal to build teams every year at Ole Miss. At LSU he can recruit top talent out of high school and use the portal to supplement positions of need.

Per 24/7, LSU is at #12 with only 15 recruits, room for improvement.
