re: Trump tells John Thune to (immediately) fire Senate Parliamentarian.

Trump can hang up passing save America. Massie and the other Republican tools that recently lost their seats will vote against it. From this point forward until a new House and Senate is sworn in it doesn’t matter how much the country will benefit from any particular legislation. The butt hurt Republicans that Trump did not endorse will vote against it to get even with Trump. That’s just the way it’s gonna be I’m afraid. If you want to make sure Trump can pass the Save America Act or any good legislation his last couple of years in office then you better get out and vote in the midterms. Trump is probably done passing any meaningful legislation until Congress changes over next year.

Well Trump is certainly better than Joe or Kamala ever would have been. Even with this Iran situation. Trump is not solving the problem though. He just found a new way to punt the problem to the next generation. And when the next generation goes back and they will. It will be bloodier and more destructive than it would be today had we just finished this.

I love Trump. The man has done a great job so far in both terms. He certainly better than anything the Dems could put forward. The man has lost his mind on Iran though. He started out well. He has absolutely lost it though since this ceasefire started. It’s pretty clear he doesn’t understand the way the Middle East works. I hate to say it because like I said he has done a good job overall. I’m not going to be a hypocrite though. I would have criticized any person Dem or Republican handling the war like this.

If complete and total regime change had been achieved through Epic Fury then this policy might make a little more sense. Because it wasn’t achieved then this would be a total disaster. We will eventually have to take off all those sanctions on Iran. They will still have access to plenty of oil to make money even if we take half of it. We will basically pay to rebuild Iran so they can take what money they make and put it back into the military and funding terror groups. These people can’t be trusted. At least make them prove over a period of time that they are going to turn over a new leaf.

Well how soon does these far left organizations paying and encouraging all the ICE riots have a crew of protesters in Texas? The riots will start in the next day or 2 I figure. I’m sure Al will be down soon also standing in front of a camera trying to gin up more rioting. Now that Ole Jess has passed away he will get all the screen time so you know he is not gonna miss this chance to fan the flames.

Asking them to lay off was ignorant anyway and just showing weakness before an enemy that can spot weakness from a mile away. In this situation Trump can either lead, follow, or get out of the way. Right now Trump is doing none of the above. It’s time to pick a coarse of action besides negotiation. We have got absolutely nowhere negotiating with Iran in years. We got nowhere negotiating with them before the war or the past couple of months. If negotiating with Iran was going to produce fruit then it would have done so long ago. If all the military and economic pressure they have faced the past few months has not forced them into setting with the US by now then it isn’t going to happen at all and we need to change course from negotiating and do something that either will produce positive results or just simply come home and get out of the Israelis way and let them finish this. All we are doing is making everything worse by insisting on negotiating some fantasyland deal.

Trump rushing right out to try and stop them from responding makes him look terribly weak. He won’t even get them to the table to cut a bad deal showing desperation like that. He needs to drop the hammer a few days just to reset everything. If he doesn’t he can hang up any kind of negated settlement. It’s not like anything they sign will be worth much anyway. If he is going to go then go all out and finish this regime off already so we can move on to the next problem to solve. Just lingering here like this begging radicals to negotiate is going nowhere.

The problem is we don’t really know how badly damaged it is until people can go in and look at the site. We can tell a lot from Satellites and drone footage but there is no substitute for have boots and eyes on the ground actually looking at the site in person.

All wars suck. That doesn’t mean that we still do night have to fight them from time to time. I wish there were better ways to solve problems but the bad guys always get a vote on how problems are settled too.

Let’s say Iran does agree to let us dig out that uranium. We send people over and look at the project and see what would be needed to do it and how many people it would require. I assume quite a few. They come back to the US get the needed manpower and equipment and go back. On the way back over there the IRGC decides they change their mind on this deal they signed. As soon as the plan lands these people are taken into custody and the Leadership of Iran starts threatening to behead these people on State run media if we do not immediately give into their demands or if we send any military over. Do we really want to send American citizens over to a country that is run by a regime that famously ok’d American Embassy workers hostage for well over a year? How many times has the current people in power made a deal only to pull it off the table after Trump goes out and makes a statement on having a deal making him look like a fool? If he trusts these people he will regret it somewhere down the line.

I love the President but he has fricked this war up. Part of the agreement on the original 2week ceasefire was to open up the Strait. Has the Strait been opened up? The answer is NO!! If we can’t get them to honor a basic ceasefire where the Strait of Hormuz is open and and they do not shoot drones and missiles at anyone in the region then what good is deal where they agree to anything. You can’t trust them to keep it. They are subject to change in Iran on a whim. Let’s just quit wasting time and go finish off these assholes while they are hanging on by a thread and not have to go back later and start from scratch.

We should start by finishing the bombing campaign on all the military targets we can find. We should tell Israel to concentrate on finding as many of the IRGC radicals in charge as can be found and kill them. Kill as many IRGC soldiers as possible. Do all this in a 2-3 week timeframe.
We should have the Marines take all the small Islands in the Strait after a heavy carpet bombing campaign. Take those Islands and push the Iranian military back to Iran proper. Find as many of the radar sites on the coast and kill them. Once we have done all that then find a way to arm the people and give them their shot to take the country back. Once the Regime has fallen then we can worry about getting the nuclear dust and make sure the nuke program is totally dismantled.
We should have been preparing an army full of Iranian ex pats, exiles, and Iranian American that want the regime overthrown. We did pretty much the same thing in Cuba years ago. The Bay of Pigs was a fiasco but we have gotten a lot better at this type of stuff since then. That’s what I would do.

The ceasefire never really started. We were the only side observing any ceasefire. Iran and Hezbollah sure didn’t.

It’s been pretty clear for quite a while now that the only person interested in negotiating is Trump. I get it. Trump wants peace but Iran and its proxies do not. It’s time to finish this and get it over with or it’s just time to bring our people home. Iran is not interested in a deal. They have not even honored this so called ceasefire. What would make anyone think they will honor any deal they sign. It’s time for Trump to either finish this off militarily or simply order our people home or get out of Israel’s way and let them finish it off and we just need to bring our people home.
Today is the 82nd anniversary of D-Day.

82 years ago today Allied Forces embarked on the great crusade. Because a greatest generation was willing to go through a living hell at places like Omaha Beach, Utah Beach, Point Du Hoc, and many others Operation Overlord was successful and the world was saved. We can’t thank and honor those guys enough. Life could certainly look a lot different today had those guys not done what they done.
