I bet the inflation would not have been so impactful if not for the rampant theft.

It’s ok. Literally yesterday the MSM told us that inflation was “cooling.”

I recall the reason is because they overbuilt and all the pharmacies were building across the street from each other, and Walgreen's is the first one to say Uncle and start pulling back

This. I’ve seen multiple instances of a CVS, Walgreens, and some other brand pharmacy being on three of four intersection corners. It’s absurd. No way that was sustainable.

thought pharmacies printed money.

Many years ago that was the case. Not anymore.

Walgreens sucks arse and I do everything I can to avoid them. Poor staffing plus shitty service in the pharmacies.
Sometimes I go to the one close to my house just to get milk and they are somehow empty of all milk at least half the time.

I recently went to Walgreens with a script my drugstore couldn’t fill.
The pharmacist made a point to tell me in the future they would only take my script if I had all my other scripts with them. Otherwise they wouldn’t take solitary items.
I took my script and will not be back.
Perhaps that’s part of the reason they are failing……they are turning down new business.
Fukkem.

Well, we know this can’t be true. The great economist Kamala da Ho just told us that all these companies are price gouging and that’s why inflation is so high. It has nothing to do with all of her and Dementia Joe’s out of fricking control spending (i.e., "donations" to their fraudulent green donors). Nooooo, it's all about these greedy corporations price gouging.

Wasn't this announced months ago?

I'd bet a larger impact for them is retail theft

My Sam's pharmacy here in Covington is awesome. They are the best pharmacy that we have ever done business with. They have had the same pharmacists and employees for several years now. They know all of their customers by name.

I have always found Walgreens costlier - even before our current state of nuttiness
