It would be disrespectful to Georgia if Bama doesn’t get in. That would be saying the same wouldn’t have happened to ND, Miami etc if they played UGa. I believe it wouid e been worse for them as good as UGa is playing right now.

+1. The Georgia team that whooped Alabama today would beat any team in America, and that includes the two teams playing the Gus Johnson blood pressure bowl on Fox right now. And they would kill ND or Miami.
First, Bama doesn’t deserve to be in the playoffs. I can’t imagine them winning a road game in the first round, no matter who they go against. That being said, it would be disastrous for conference championship games going forward if the committee kept the bluest of the blue bloods out after they lost a 13th game.

Although it would be quite ironic - almost poetic - if Alabama’s loss killed the conference championship game on the same weekend that Roy Kramer died.
He literally has the best head coaching record against top teams in college football history.

Not just discussing, it’s their major topic of the day. Why?

People like a good soap opera, and Lane is a walking drama queen. I think people also understand that this is yet another harbinger of the demise of our beloved sport.

Meanwhile, Alabama and Georgia in the SECCG? Been there, done that. On the field, we kinda run this league.

So I guess congrats on never beating Auburn when we’re at full strength

Anything Auburn has faced over the past several seasons is incomparable to the NCAA enforcement committee telling your program that it’s staring down the barrel of a gun. Auburn made a series of bad coaching decisions…Alabama lost a whole team worth of scholarships (21 to be exact).

Dudes running drugs are terrorists?

We should have treated them as such a long time ago. Their actions have killed far more American citizens than bin Laden could have ever imagined.

It is remarkable that Democrats are now at the point of defending drug cartels. Amazing! These people are hopelessly out of touch.

re: Alex Golesh Perfect for Auburn

1. Alabama fans are quite familiar with Golesh, and many of us think it is a solid hire.

2. Why is an LSU fan glazing Auburn for their "tradition of excellence"?
That statistic is deceptive, but I think DeBoer is coming into his own at Bama. And I also think he might be a really good coach.
We've been on the opposite sideline from this coach a few times. He's a good hire for Auburn.

We did this earlier today for the first time at our house. It was far more enjoyable.
Everything about this article is either intentionally misleading or just stupid.

re: What's happening to Ole Miss is wrong

I agree. Greatest Ole Miss season since the Bay of Pigs, and all the joy is being sucked right out of it.
What was it Anthony Kennedy said about legalizing gay marriage? It is uncharted waters: a wonderful destination or a cliff.
Obamacare is a ticking time bomb. Repeal is forever off the table, since this entitlement is now firmly in the bloodstream. Meanwhile, maneuvers like “emergency” subsidies are delaying the inevitable.

If Trump really wants to go down as a great American president - indeed, one of the greatest - he will work to fix this disaster rather than punting. It will require some degree of a bipartisan consensus; and it will also require GOP congressmen to be willing to actually legislate. But it can be done.
She destroyed family relationships over political views, but we're the fascists.
My head says Texas over Tamu, but my PTSD says Auburn over Bama.

Lots of upset potential this weekend, primarily from the fact that the underdog will have home field advantage in most of these rivalries.

He was fired the week before the national championship game in 2016. That takes skill.
Alabama is 9-2 overall, 6-1 in the conference, and ranked #10 overall. Yet I honestly feel like any team in the conference could beat Alabama on any given Saturday.
I’m not against corporal punishment. But if it is necessary, then it must be done without anger or rage; otherwise, a child could end up seriously injured or dead. And today you can also lose your job and have your child taken from you.

So the only ones with an advantage were Mizzou and Oklahoma, which beat Bama at Bama

The point isn’t just that those teams you listed had byes, but that most every other team played a cupcake the week before they played Bama.

re: Vote to release the Epstein files

It's all politics. Trump/MAGA had the Epstein football for the past 10 years and squeezed it for everything they could politically. Then when the Democrats were in the minority, they called the bluff. As Dan Turrentine said yesterday, "You can't blame Democrats for having fun with this."

Like the JFK/MLK/RFK files, we're going to be sorely disappointed with whatever is in the Epstein files.
