The state is going to work with ice, thus requiring fewer federal agents. Your title is pretty misleading. Edit: I guess its the title of the article not one you created that is misleading.

I’ll reserve judgment to see how it shakes out, but if there is any compromise that reduces enforcement efforts, I’m through with it all. This would be the bump stock ban x 1,000,000,000 in terms of an eff up, and an unforgivable act.

The play here is probably to focus hard on cooperating states now and show how this doesn’t happen anywhere else. Meanwhile blast out information regarding every illegal criminal aliens in Minnesota at the same time. I’d bet they are even hoping for several new cases they can put out there and pin those accidents at the feet of tampon for not allowing them to work. It’s smart.

I'm fine with local cops investigating, but they have to cooperate as well. No more cops allowing feral commies to block traffic, no more access to license plate resources, you start handing over illegals in your custody or information about illegals in your areas.
Till then, frick right off.

It's possible to be pro Trump and pro ICE while also acknowledging that those agents fricked up in this particular case.
Not if you're a populist.
Unless Trump comes out with a statement saying that the agents fricked up, then they will agree that it was a "Yuge" frickup...the biggest frickup in American history.
But I don't think that will happen, because he'd have to walk back statements he's already made.

Pull back of ICE is WHAT WALZ SAYS, not President Trump.
The article says Trump would look into reducing the number of federal agents.

This is fine. This doesnt end ICE operations all together and doesn't mean they wont be back.
This also de-escalates the insurgency in MN and allow moral exits for their useful idiots. Weakens it. Forces them to mobilize elsewhere if not nationally which exhausts funds and exhausts organizationally. They'll need more time to create a strategy which by then the ICE issue fizzles out before the summer.

Weird, the headline does not match the article.
I very highly doubt the feds are going to turn over an investigation they have clear jurisdiction in to a bunch of local cops. That alone is ridiculous.

If true…. How about we don’t ridicule Trump for making an attempt to de-escalate?

How much blame do you place at the rhetoric pushed out by Minnesota’s political leadership? Is it ok to encourage this type of behavior when you dont agree with the principles that the majority of the populace voted for?

Mr Over the top about everything.
You are wrong again. In your attempts to dehumanize and "shame" (as if you have the power to do so) MAGA voters, you prove yourself to be an idiot.

None of us need to Trump to tell us what to think. You are dumb. We were here long before Trump and will be here long after him.
I laid all of this out via lower courts and the SCOTUS. Nothing the agents did will result in him being found guilty of anything because what the guy did was not protected. In fact, the MN judge on Jan 16th ruled that what this guy did was illegal.
The ruling explicitly states that if a person "gets in the face" of an agent or uses their body to block an agent’s path, they are no longer protected by the First Amendment right to assemble.
Per Barnes (9-0 SCOTUS Ruling), all events leading up to this HAS to be considered. That includes the environment that has transpired at the request of Dem leadership.
Once a gun was seen, any movement that could be perceived as a threat dictates a a response with deadly force.
Even the Chicago PD Chief understand that.
This has NOTHING to do with Trump.
