If you want to be completely honest with yourself, Jay’s “hits” were well-known commodities (Skenes, Tanks, Eyanson) and came here as much to play for LSU as to play for Jay…is he a great coach? Sure.
I can think of several SEC coaches just as good as Jay and maybe slightly better…let’s see what happens
