Slowflowpro (resident lib civil rights and public defender)……who is usually in threads like this similar to lesbians at a Subaru dealership. But he’s noticeably absent here. Which makes me wonder if one of the more vocal posters in this thread isn’t an alter.

The FBI said, "let that fricker go!"

The Supreme Court has stated, 9-0, that the District Court "properly requires the Government to 'facilitate' Albrego Garcia's release from custody in El Salvador and to ensure that his case is handled as it would have been had he not been improperly sent to El Salvador." I just want the Government to abide by the Court’s ruling, which requires that the Government behave lawfully but in no way decides whether Garcia should be deported.
And they have made an effort and would facilitate. Trump asked Bukele and he said no. Had he said yes they would have picked him up and “facilitated” the return. What that order does not state is an “order” for the government get him released…..which can not be done since you can’t compel a sovereign nation to do something with their citizens…..notice he is not a US Citizen and is no longer our issue! Please try to dispute these statements!

actually do it by the book, grant him due process,
How many freaking judges does he need to stand in front of for you guys to understand he has already been given DUE PROCESS? He's gone and he isn't coming back. PERIOD.

This administration (by its own admission) already admitted sending him was a mistake. Somebody not being loyal enough to Trump doesn’t change that. SCOTUS ruled as well.
If it’s such a slam dunk, why not just do it the right way and shut everyone up?

Good news, they weighed in already.

“A totally innocent Marylander & father” …
They can’t say he’s an American citizen because he’s not.
There needs to be consequences for politicians & officials who allowed this to happen.

Why anyone responds to these cretins is beyond me. Just downvote and move on. Other than the board autist, these mongoloids never stick around to defend their position because they have none.
They're the epitome of "shite posters."

I will sum it up. He is a lawyer that posts here more than anyone in the history of tigerdroppings. He is educated and has whitty responses. Now the real description follows:
SFP claims to be a libertarian and a constitutional absolutist. When he actually is an educated contrarian. He is liberal at heart but will fight you tooth and nail saying that he is just for smaller government and constitutional law period. He seems like a guy I play golf with….educated book wise but lacks common sense/morals. He always refers to legalities to prop up his ideals rather than looking at the common sense parts of an argument. In summary, quite smart legally but completely bankrupt morally.

Where did this administration admit “sending him was a mistake?” I’m not dismissing your assertion out of hand, but I wouldn’t mind seeing where you draw that from, specifically I mean. I’d be curious to review said source material. TIA

And the Trump administration complied. They asked and President Bukele said no. End of story.

Sorry your hero turned out to be a trafficking gang member. Maybe you can buy some of his mom’s pupusas.
Some of you really can't separate fact from fiction. I have never said anything about Abrego Garcia that was positive or suggested that he shouldn't have been deported...BACK IN 2019.
The Administration illegally deported him to El Salvador because their was a hold order by a Trump Administration immigration judge issued in 2019. The order didn't prohibit his deportation generally. It prohibited his deportation to El Salvador specifically.
Every judge and justice, including the conservatives, who has reviewed this held that the deportation to El Salvador was illegal. Of course, there is no remedy, because American courts can't order El Salvador to do anything.
In SWORN testimony, ICE doesn't even dispute that the deportation to El Salvador was prohibited by the law.
