Is it still at 14mph or has it sped up even more?
So when’s the shear supposed to be here? Right before landfall? To my amateur eye it looks like the top of the storm is already getting fricked with.

Can someone look at the satellite and explain how it’s gonna be a monster worthy of evacuating? It looks like a mess.

Anybody want to chime in on the satellite? It’s getting closer to land and still doesn’t look great. Any chance it doesn’t get its act together in time and then shear rips it apart.

What’s the google model say? How often does it run?
Wife and I are in Greece on vacation and coming back Sunday. Trying to deal with our business and worrying about kids and shite a half a world away is not fun.
Fairhope will almost certainly lose power due to fallen limbs/ trees (although there can’t be many left from sally a few years ago.
