Return flight out of LaGuardia I wasn't showing up in the system with my TWIC

I used mine recently and they used a magnifying glass to verify the security measures in the card. At least, that’s what they told me when I asked. I’ve read that they don’t scan them. Don’t know how true that is.

Any of these fights I shouldn’t miss?

Modern regulations and permitting standards have been suspended for these projects. This applies to any building permits applied for within the fire area in the next seven years.

Adam Carolla mentioned the new septic systems were expensive AF.

If true, that goes against what you’re saying.

Well, we're waiting

Surprised you didn’t search the travel board first where they’re listed. I would only suggest Deschutes out of the stops you’ve made.

I've hit Backwoods, Deschutes, and 10 barrel brewing so far

There’s much better spots to visit.

Hopefully they get rid of the 3oz liquid restriction soon too..

I’ve ignored that for ten years and have never been bothered about it.

If you had put your TWIC number in the KTN spot when you booked initially you wouldn't have had this problem

Not totally true. I recently used my TWIC to see what happened and my KTN is my precheck.

The agent knew what it was and I was through just as fast if I had used my Real ID.

I’m only nervous my car will get broken into so I avoid downtown.

That's the only thing I'd be worried about in Portland, Seattle, SF etc. That and being harassed by homeless people. Granted, I haven't been to any of those places in close to 15 years.

I can’t speak for SF but Portland and Seattle isn’t scary at all if you’ve actually lived/been amongst the folks from the real hoods like many of us on this site have.

small correction,

I saw several that needed correcting but whatever’s

was just there for a day and a half last week. I'd only go back if I were packing heat, which I wasn't.

How scared are you if Portland scares you?

I’m only nervous my car will get broken into so I avoid downtown.

But not once have I ever thought, I need my gun. However, I am NOLA trained/qualified.

I don’t answer calls from numbers I don’t recognize, period. If it’s important, they’ll leave a voicemail or text and I can then verify who it is. I tell my wife the same thing.

I got an email this morning of a receipt of a gun purchase through PayPal.

I knew better, then I clicked on the email info and laughed at the BS handle but I can see how older folks would fall for it.

They’re slow, uneducated about scams, and have never had any phishing tutorials from their employer.

I intentionally avoid cars with wheels larger than 20” in diameter though.

I just paid 1150 for a set of All Terrain 3 peak tires at Costco that are 22’s plus another 130 for an alignment since they don’t do that.

How many of you have a 4x4 and have actually used it?

I do and I use it.

quote:

How often have you had to put it in 4x4 over the last year?

Not that much because my rig has amazing traction control so it isn’t needed in snow. Probably 20 times. Almost always at a boat ramp or dirt/mud/gravel boat launch.

Why is it so important to rich people that they signal their wealth to other people?

But your neighbors do it every day. Houses, cars, where they shop for groceries, their clothes, where they send their kids to school, etc.

Odds are many are in debt or paycheck to paycheck, just in a different tax bracket than typical poor people.

O no worries I wasn’t trying to get someone to give me a log in.

It’s much better than that.
