No, it’s not. It puts you in the bottom 25% of accepted students at every ivy.

It only does if you go by the stats where they filter out the legacy students (the majority of students) because they had no entrance requirements other than parents who are alumni.

Wonder what David Hogg had to get into Harvard?

Step 1. Buy place near beach with pool using that bank

Step 2. Attend first week of classes showing all girls pics of said place and pool

Step 3. Enjoy girls at said place and pool and drop all but one class

Step 4. Repeat steps 1, 2 and 3 for next 10 - 20 years

acshualllllllly he may have written a 30 million dollar app but he didn't score perfect on his ACT so he's not worthy of an ivy league education.

Go to GA-Tech and love it if you can do the work.

Are these the same Ivies that are now offering remedial math to some of their incoming students?
The same Ivies that admitted David Hogg.

Hate to say it, but from that list he should go to Georgia Tech. Excellent school and he could tap into their tech and innovation commercialization programs which help companies move from ideas to the marketplace. Very practical.
But he would have to live in Atlanta.

He shouldn't worry.

In 10 years he will be the boss, if not the employer, of the sub-species types that were admitted under these woke university's covert DEI bullshite.

Honest question: Why is he going to college at all?

I'll answer

To use that $30 million to score as much pussy as possible in Coral Gables and South Beach. I haven't seen a picture of him yet but I like his odds with that kind of cash flow. I would've been dead by age 23 myself.

He’s rich and intelligent but likely has no connections.

That’s why the Ivy League doesn’t want him.

He clearly already has the skills to succeed in the AI field.

Unless he wants to learn a completely different discipline (eg, finance), it seems like opportunity cost.

I’d say for the experience and intellectual growth. Not everything is about money and luckily he already made his. Even though I don’t utilize my 8 years in college for what I do now I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

This reminds me of the situation with David Hogg and another boy at his school who was the valedictorian of the senior class. Hogg, who had obviously been groomed, was accepted by Ivy League schools despite being dumber than a box of rocks. The other kid was, by all accounts, very bright. But after initially being accepted by an Ivy League school, the valedictorian subsequently had his initial acceptance revoked because he wouldn't go along with the woke agenda.

Obtw, I searched for that kid's name (Eastern European last name) and couldn't find him anywhere. Of course, Hogg is all over the internet. "Funny" how much popular one is when he/she regurgitates all the politically correct talking points.

I could see why he might want to go to an Ivy League school for networking

But beyond that I don't get it either

Your numbers for AWS sound about right, I would wager his biggest cost would be customer acquisition though - apps in particular rarely grow organically, I would bet a very hefty percentage of rev was going into ads and marketing

And not dinging the kid at all, its very impressive

Ivy school enrollments are almost exclusively comprised of legacy students with terribly mediocre academic records. They hand out As intentionally so they can market stellar undergraduate performance and help their legacy students get in to any post graduate program they want. They are nothing more than diploma mills for the rich.

All of that is wildly incorrect. You basically posted the deranged view that radical leftists have of the Ivies, which is about 80 years out of date. Todays Ivies are overwhelmingly non-white. Further, if you take Jews out of the white column, there's hardly anybody left, and those few that are left are extremely woke (David Hogg for example).
