re: $300 dollar fishing pliers - bbvdd
I actually have a pair of Abel pliers. Had them now for around 15-20 years. Maybe more. Lots of saltwater and freshwater wade fishing. They still look like they did the day I bought them. I can’t say that they’re worth the money for everyone but they have been for me. ...

re: Tactical Solutions .22 rifles - bbvdd
I just have a couple of their barrels. One on Buckmark and one on a 10/22 The barrels are incredible and very light. My 10/22 has a Hogue stock. I really like it a lot but haven’t played with the Magpul. I had a Magpul ordered for my Ruger American but they’ve delayed them for about 1.5yr...

re: Anyone looking to build an 80% Glock? PSA - bbvdd
How much machine work? Can a gunsmith do this? Is it a significant savings? Sorry, have not heard of this before
Well, on the "glock" the frame is plastic (er, composite), so not really "machining" per say but there is some drilling/routing and fitting. The back rail is the ...

re: Model 870 - bbvdd
I can shoot a full choke just fine, but they have their place. They're good for longer shots, squirrels, etc. for most shots on dove, you're more likely to destroy more meat with them than not....

re: FNX Tactical - bbvdd
My FIL had one (not sure if he still has it or not) and I've fired a couple of mags out of from that a guy at the gun club had (I had help him with his shooting). It's a very smooth operating gun. Good trigger. IT IS BIG. This isn't likely a gun that you will be carrying. It's pretty simila...
