I’m guessing the type of ogive of the bullet could possibly cause the bullet to be pushed into the case when it’s more of a tangent ogive vs secant ogive.
The point on a tangent is a little shorter which could cause the bullet to hit the lands and forced back.
A secant is more streamlined and has a longer skinnier point.
ETA: after reading his thread again, the eldx is what was giving him issues. It’s definitely more secant shaped. So, really not sure either head space issues or bad batch of ammo.

I have several SA revolvers and several DA revolvers. 95% of the time I’m cocking a DA as the pull is so heavy on a DA.
If if was for a defensive situation I’d want the DA but for just shooting the SA is fine.
SA is typically lighter though.
My 4” Blackhawk in .45 lc is awesome as is my single six which shoots both lr and wmr.

There was a thread on tires a month or two ago asking about AT tires. The guy at my dealership and a guy at discount tire both told me that they have seen issues with KO3 not being able to balance them. That they were out of round or something.
