The Ivy Leauge schools are not impressive anymore and largely have become a sick joke.

Meanwhile David Hogg got into Harvard with scores that wouldn't fit Ohio State because they believe in some kind of "wholistic impact" BS.

Honest question: Why is he going to college at all? He clearly already has the skills to succeed in the AI field. Unless he wants to learn a completely different discipline (eg, finance), it seems like opportunity cost.
If he’s an 18 year old millionaire maybe he just wants to have fun, some vague sense of normalcy and enjoys learning?

only 4.0 GPA is pretty low for Ivy League as well

to go along with what he has accomplished already on his resume/application, should be a slam dunk.
There was a girl in my HS class who had a perfect SAT, 4.3 GPA, semi-professional ballerina and skilled concert pianist and most remarkable, had genuinely great social skills
.... rejected at Stanford and waitlisted at Harvard (which she eventually attended). She was Asian.
I would say a 34 is probably too low for Yale/Harvard/Princeton, but that should absolutely be good enough for the other Ivys with the rest of the application

You are really out of touch with what elite HS students’ resume’s look like.

The 4.0 is low if he was able to get over a 4.0 by taking AP and Honors courses.
Excellent point. Either he’s getting a lot of Bs in AP classes (where a B is worth 4) or he’s getting straight A’s but not taking AP classes. Neither will get you into the elite universities.

Wouldn't you want to be on campus as an 18 year old multimillionaire with a few thousand 18-22 year old college girls?

He applied late for these schools. Most kids learn if they’re accepted before Christmas break.
On his transcript it shows he has between 15 and 18 absences in all his classes.(It’s on X)
In his essay he talks about how he “rejected the idea of going to college”, but felt like something was missing
1. Apply Late
2. Absences
3. Not sure about going to college
He sounds like he is going to be a college dropout. That is okay for a state school, but most private schools it is red flag.

I got a 34 on the ACT and my weighted GPA was above 4 and I wouldn’t have bothered applying. Did he have mostly APs? Is that 4.0 weighted?

He doesn’t need a degree, he’s set up for life. he needs the social life and party atmosphere IMO. Miami will be great for him

Did it say in the article how much he has pocketed? Revenue doesn't equal profit.

Reasonably we could assume 10%. At 18, that’s enough for life. If it’s much higher profit, which most AI and apps are right now, he’s definitely set up for a fun life

Don’t be retarded.

Id have LOVED college if it wasnt for the financial problems associated with it. Having to work 2 or 3 shitty jobs, not having any money, broke car, etc.
This kids gonna have the time of his life.

That is WAY above average for ivy league acceptance.
No, it’s not. It puts you in the bottom 25% of accepted students at every ivy.

If you start your collage application like this, expect to get declined by the Ivys.
Zachevious would have been IN at every school

Well does the app actually work?
I hate calorie counting and even using one of the apps that scans the barcodes doesnt always have those items. So I find them a bit useless.

Now he'll never get to be DNC vice-chairman.
