As a multimillinaire he'll be much happier in Miami vs Boston.

And why even bother with some indoctrination camp know as "higher education" anyway?

18 years old with a $30M company. Bank that shite in a HISA, live like a king off the interest, build another app and spend the rest of your time out pursuing high quality Miami poon.

Unless you're black, which is the problem.

The same reason HNWI and UHNWI send their kids to school. To rub shoulders with other HNWIs

That is WAY above average for ivy league acceptance.

Miami is the new tech hub.

Going to a school like GT may help him slightly more with his technical skill, but that's for worker bees. He seems to want to be a Jobs not a Woz.

Honest question: Why is he going to college at all?

Because he's 18 and he can.

Id have LOVED college if it wasnt for the financial problems associated with it. Having to work 2 or 3 shitty jobs, not having any money, broke car, etc.

This kids gonna have the time of his life.

He says in the article he wants to "catch up on social events" in college.

Who wouldn't want that?

There's a huge difference in racking up 100-250k in debt to party and what he's doing. People get so caught up with the "college student in debt" paradigm they forget college is largely a social event with education sprinkled.

.... plus MIT, WashU, Stanford, Duke, USC, UVA, NYU.

Why is this news? Developing an app is supposed to get you automatic admission? 4.0 and 34 are a freaking dime a dozen.

Gonna be honest….he probably should focus on building his next big innovation instead of his applications. He has a gift and experience in app development. He probably doesn’t need Stanford or MIT.
