Kemp reminds me of G.W. Bush and many late 80s and 90s era republicans. Remember Bush 1 saying no new taxes, then the D's saying it's got to happen and we'll all take credit/blame. He signed the bill to raise taxes and the D's pounded him for it in the '92 election. Kemp is trying to be liked by both sides. He doesn't understand that the media and democrats will never like him and he only loses face with republicans.

Hint: The democrats want power and their cheerleading media want them to have power. They will never like anyone with an "R" by their name and will never respect them.

And still smarter and more coherent than the much younger DEI Justice Jackson

That is about a low of a bar as one could set. My niece is smarter and more coherent than Jackson...and she's 8.
Fake news! Pretty sure Monica's note would be "68 42" cause Bill still owes her one...
I think Massie has to be concerned.

"A Big Data Poll showed Massie ahead of Gallrein, 52 to 48 percent. Big Data Poll interviewed 433 registered Republican likely primary voters and 600 registered voters district-wide from April 3-4 and April 6-7, taking a break for Easter Sunday. The poll has a margin of error of +/- 4 percent."

So Gallrein is within the MOE and with new money running ads attacking Massie for voting with AOC and Ilhan Omar. Not a good look for Massie

Massie has tried to re-align with MAGA and MAHA. He stated, "I agree with President Trump nearly all of the time" and refers to himself as a "Mostly Trumper," noting he votes with him 91% of the time.

That said, I think Massie squeezes out a win mainly due to low Republican turnout when Trump's name isn't on the ballot. Low turnout tends to help the incumbent. But Indiana has disrupted that narrative for now.
Interrogate a mentally disabled guy long enough, you’ll find inconsistencies in his story. Come back a few time over the next few hours to “clear up” problems with his story until you get him saying the “right” thing. Let him know that once we get his side all cleared up, he can go. Get it all on tape and you’ve got a confession. Unconstitutional and shouldn’t stand in court.

This reeks of desperation

Basically a "please forget all the times I went against him and JD Vance called me out for voting with the democrats all the time and put me back in office" kind of message...
Democrats have such poor ideas they have to paint the Republican nominee for president as a racist, sexist threat to American democracy.

That was the message about......Mitt Romney?

Obama said of him, “My Opponent Is a Dangerous Radical.”

Biden said he would put African Americans “back in chains."

Mitt Romney??? Really? Even the Washington Post conceded that Romney and the Republicans got treated horribly in 2012,

"Two Democratic officials attending the convention have described Republican falsehoods by quoting Nazis -- one Hitler, one Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels. South Carolina Democratic Party Chairman Dick Harpootlian then compared his state's governor, Nikki Haley, to Hitler girlfriend Eva Braun."

This didn't start with Trump, it won't end with him.

Mark this down, we are roughly 800 days away from the 2028 Republican convention and democrats saying the Republicans nominated someone who is "worse than Trump" and "literally just like Hitler"

Been with USAA for 22 years. Service is great, rates are not. I'm in the process of switching to Progressive for everything.

Well they correctly predicted the 2024 election outcome so they are a credible voice (sarcasm)
Having solved all other problems America is facing Massie is looking into (checks notes) an attempt at humor by the White House.

Democrats had their "Lion of the Senate" in Ted (hiccup) Kennedy. Republicans have their "gerbil of the Senate" in Tom (please make Trump stop messing with me) Massie.

Guy is a total joke.

Pretty sure the DOJ was investigating and leaking during the 2020 election...

No offense, but this doesn't sound stable at all. She made the decision and resented her husband for it? If your uncle couldn't decide whether or not to propose to her, would she have cut off her left-hand ring finger to end the discussion?

Hope you didn't take too much advice from her...
My wife and I started out marriage thinking "no kids ever". But we changed our minds when our niece came along. Now I couldn't imagine not having kids.

The times when you see them succeed is better than any success I've had (son getting his first wrestling match win, daughter being chair of her section...doesn't have to be big). Their excitement is worth any tough time.

The times when they scare you and you get to guide them through it (daughter's first car accident). Helping them through the pain to see it will get better, who else could do that for them.

All of it is scary and exciting...keeps me young.
2.5 months from retiring. Not sure what to do next. I won't need to work, so I am going to take some time to do things with my dad (in his 70s), but I think I will have to do something. Looking at substitute teaching or advising for the local college, but who knows.
Not in front of very many people. I've lost all my grandparents, plenty of aunts and uncles too. I've lost it when brothers died in uniform but not infront of others. I thought only my wife seen me cry when my grandma passed and later when grandpa died.

But after Mammaw's funeral, my son said, "I saw you had a tear." (He was 8). I thought about it and told him how I feel about men crying. I think it's ok for men to cry for certain things. Loss of a loved one is one of those times. But we cannot let our emotions get the better of us and I'll never judge a man who tears up every once in a while. Now if it's a weekly occurrence....that's different
Take them over to Douglas County. Tell the folks there that these two are from California and broke $200,000 worth of Bass Pro stuff. Those dudes will get retribution in horrible ways.
I wrote letters to my wife, daughter and son on each deployment. Just in case, I wanted them to know how I feel about them. Not easy to write, but seems easier than saying it.
Took the kids there when they were young. We went to Magic Kingdom for a day last year and will probably do it again in a couple of weeks. I didn't think it was that bad, but we do get the military price on tickets.
