Got asked alot about this in the last couple of days. Yep, it's nice.
Depends greatly on where you are. I'm in a rural area and I've never had any issues other than some back and forth on price.
The area around the MLB and NHL stadiums is nice and there's a fan base there. The rest of downtown sucks. A lot of suburbs that are nice as well.
I think a open market partial government-funded plan could work. Government gives "x" amount per year to the citizen who can spend that amount for basic coverage. Citizen (or employer) can also pay in addition to the government dollars.

Health insurance compete for the government/citizen dollars in any state. Premiums down, coverage that's customizable.
I don't watch Foxnews and I'm not angry.

82% are happy with their insurance doesn't equate to being happy with the ACA.

You must have skipped this part in the article you posted

"Meanwhile, 46 percent of survey respondents prefer keeping the ACA in place, while 24 percent want Congress to repeal the law and 30 percent are unsure."

That means that half of those respondents aren't exactly "thrilled" with the ACA.

If the subsidies go away, I suspect that the number of people wanting something else will go up.

In reality Obamacare increased the number of insured people in the US by around 45 million people

A lot of these newly insured were young single men, who typically don't need much insurance.

The fact is that 70% of the population was happy with their insurance and this monster of a bill gave more money and power to insurance companies.

It was and is a bad bill that created a lot more problems than it solved.
Yep. Don't know how many new chairs we got in September in the many squadrons I was in...
I listened to opinion a few years back because she made solid points about the black community and the tragedy of fatherless homes. That made sense. I believe she was the first black voice that openly said that George Floyd was NOT a hero.

But I'm not sure what she's hoping to accomplish by going after a widow.
What's really crazy is that we all know which side benefits from this...
Travel up to the Rolla Love's...I believe diesel was around 3.02...

It is also designed to tell you what you want to hear...
"This lady's husband was murdered and the entire world saw. People on the left made fun of the murder. I am what is important in this instance and not the widow."
-Seems like a piss poor start to any conversation.

I used to really like CO, but she needs meds.
We hate where we came from. But we hate what you have here. So let's make it more like where we came from. And liberals fall for it everytime.
Oh a little touchy are we, guess I was trying to give it the joke back to you.

Ah, go back to sitting on arse if you can't take a joke from a civilian. We always ragged on the retired Navy guys in the nuke industry and they gave it back as good as we did it to them. As long as it is good natured ribbing, it's a you problem.

You should go back to sitting on your arse as it appears you can't take a joke from a military man...
I'm sure you wear your "I almost joined but couldn't because of ..." medal proudly and almost stand when they ask if there are any veterans in the house, and you almost get that military discount on Veteran's Day...almost the same huh...nah.
quote:

How often does this happen? I’m almost 60 did 32 years and no civilian has ever said anything other than, “thank you for your service.”

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. It's usually family members. Think of the mothers, fathers or siblings of the person who served. They see us bag on each other and then want to jump in on behalf of their family member. My siblings, kids, wife, parents, etc. know better than to jump in.
Having people invade my country has a "chilling" effect on me...so there's that.
