re: Further proof that Sankey is a fraud who is hurting the SEC
Posted by GeauxBurrow312 on 2/26/26 at 9:36 am to AHM21
Sankey is a dumbfrick, but I like the new schedule rules. It helps with schedule parity and reduces the chances of schools having an easy ride to the CCG
The B1G needs to adopt the OOC rule, but I also wouldn’t use USCw as the example of that. They played 11 P4 in 2024, and the reason they canceled with the gold domers is because ND wanted to play that game late season (during conference play for USC) and ND has that new clause that automatically puts them in the playoffs. Miami would have been left out for ND under the new rules despite having the H2H

Some folk are nuts
God is great
Beer is good
People are crazy
As long as people have faith in Christ they will be OK. Jesus forgives.

If she ever wins the presidency we are fricked beyond belief. She is retarded. Big titty bimbo whose only claim to fame is working as a bartender before “representing the people”
Revolution would be appropriate. Leftists need to understand there is a line that cannot be crossed. Imagine if Gaetz was president. Do people think people would be civil? They haven’t been for Trump..

I think Putin is traditionalist. But it’s hard to separate what he wants us to see and what actually is.
Russia has a horrific abortion rate. He also kowtows to the Islamist regions and lets them be little regional warlords as long as they answer his call to war
Traditional? Yes. The way it should be done? No.
He also backs Iran. He is two faced in what he actually delivers. And his rage against America is undeniable
Ukraine would be much easier to root for if they didn’t have Zelensky at the helm.
re: Trump Announces New 10% Global Tariff
Posted by GeauxBurrow312 on 2/20/26 at 10:59 pm to AlterEd
People need to understand tariffs are necessary. They forced Europeans to spend more on their defense (much from the US). They forced more fair agricultural trade with Asians
It’s not about just taxing imports. Long term we can’t rely on tariffs. We don’t have the labor force to sustain that unless we have a radical shift from the college mindset to trades.
But in the short term, tariffs work. For the long haul, tariffs help incentive people to choose better career choices. Which also needs to happen, because far too many get degrees that will never help them pay back their loans. If the government won’t do it, we can manipulate the market to force them to make better choices.
Money is not the end all beast. Tariffs have been really bad for my company (especially on steel and aluminum) but it’s good for the nation.
If you don’t have a nation, you have nothing. The 401k watchers are pathetic. Our nation is being invaded by 3rd world folks. Legacy is what endures. Retiring with 10% less to have a functional and clean society is better than retiring with 10% more and having to worry about not getting carjacked in broad daylight

Amen. Teenage me would have laughed, but we are in a battle of survival now. The Conservative Party needs to survive the next 20-30 years and we will be good. They have a demographic advantage over us in the meanwhile but they are breeding themselves out of the equation by not having children and having much higher mental health issues

Beetlejuice was a little before my time living in Chicago. She apparently won every single district when she ran
I was here for when Paul Vallas ran against mayor BJ, and had the opportunity to meet vallas at a fundraiser. He was not a conservative guy, but he had common sense. Pro school choice, pro law enforcement. I still don’t get how he lost after winning by such a large margin in the initial vote. He got killed in the runoff. If you look at the voting districts, it was mostly rich white neighborhoods that supported BJ.
For as much shite as Yankees talk about the south and racism, I have never seen a city more segregated than Chicago. You can literally go miles in what is the second most dense city in the country where it’s almost all people of one race

re: More BS from Tucker
Posted by GeauxBurrow312 on 2/20/26 at 10:22 pm to Geekboy
Tucker has been increasingly disappointing.
Ironically, one of his best in recent months IMO was when he and mark Cuban both hashed it out at a convention. Don’t care for either of them much anymore (Cuban is 100% a fig) but it was a nice civil debate where they ended up agreeing on a lot.
I’m just tired of all these personalities selling out and people assuming they are “leaders” of political movements. 90% of republican voters don’t give a shite about what Tucker or Candace say.

Putin hates America
I share his traditional values but can’t root for the guy. He would happily see us all dead or impoverished
I don’t get why so many value the words from a guy whose rise to power came from being a communist spy and Russian gangster, two influences which still control his decision making today
And no, that doesn’t justify supporting the **** known as little Z. They can both wipe each other out if they want to keep refusing or making demands from POTUS

He took them out of a beautiful home in Chicago’s Gold Coast, which is basically the equivalent of New York’s upper east side. Beautiful, historical home, he tore it up for a tax break.
If the democrats are dumb enough to run him, we will win again despite all of our frickups and internal fighting

I’ve met this fat frick. Their family office is run by his relatives who are of a more libertardian brand of thought. Will laugh my arse off if ever gets the DNC nomination
Should he ever run against Vance or Rubio etc, just re-air the ads of him ripping out toilet seats for a tax cut. Look it up, it’s comedy gold.

If some stranger or your boss started hugging your wife for 5+ seconds, would you think that’s appropriate? They have footage of it, I doubt they would waste their time investigating something that would get laughed out of court
Best case scenario he is dumb for not following the Mike pence rule and his wife is an adulterer, worst case he is a perv and his wife an adulterer
Either way there’s no reason this family should be in the cabinet

We spend more on interest on our debt than Medicare, Medicaid or national defense. I don't think its sustainable.
Defense spending is not the problem people make it out to be. We could spend $0 and we would still be running a deficit. Defense is also the only thing the federal government *should* be spending large money on
We need austerity and to pay down the debt. SNAP requirements need to be paired with requiring people go to urgent care first for issues or they will be denied medical treatment. We can’t afford to float big medical bills for people who don’t take care of themselves and choose the most expensive healthcare options at every turn
The 3rd rail that also needs fixing is social security, impossible to fix our fiscal mess without reforming social security

At my work we are required to use a VPN when working out of office
