Im not sure any film I loved did well at the academy awards since Gladiator. I don’t think most people feel a movie winning a bunch of awards means anything when it comes to watchability of the movie. I’m sure it will win a bunch of awards because most of these awards now are more interested in leftist optics and ideology.

Sounds like it's set for a huge opening weekend. Perhaps it's not as woke as anticipated? Time will tell.

I learned in middle school with Chariots of Fire that “Best Picture” usually means “Boring arse Movie”. But Gladiator was indeed an exception. Titanic, too.

You posted all that when you could've just said, "I'm a whiny little bitch" in a lot less words. Up early on a Saturday morning complaining about the race fictional characters. ?

"Greek gods, Mermaids, and Jesus! The Holy Trinity of pure whiteness!"

You're an unapologetic racist. That's cool. At least you have the balls to admit it.

I totally agree. But tragically it plays a major role in The Culture War. Hopefully viewership keeps going down yearly.

No it doesn’t except for an exceedingly minor amount of people that are already Marxists. It’s had horrible ratings for years now

You're dripping in insecurity calling someone a punk arse bitch. Life as a white man must be so tough for you. I guess you're doing it wrong.

One upside of all this “controversy” around the Odyssey…

Anyone who watches the Oscars is already woke so they won't sway anyone with more woke shite. Whole thing seems senseless anymore but whatever.

They did this with ‘One Battle After Another.’ There was no way that movie was the best picture last year. And we all know what that movie was about.

I bet if you walked down the street and asked 100 people, maybe 10 could tell you what movie won best picture last year. I'm not sure even 10 could.

I saw the movie, and if you replaced the ICE storyline that wasn't something so obviously inserted to make a political point, it was a fairly enjoyable movie. I'm sure the other Best Picture nominees were garbage too, so I find it funny they gave it to what was basically the type of action movie they used to never award to.

Will it sweep the box office? That’s what matters.

Awards shows even acknowledge they do not mean as much anymore.

I gave it a fair shot, but ultimately the black and tranny actors were just too unrealistic for me. Loved the Cyclops, giant cannibals, and witch who turned people into animals and back though.

You can't even fathom that there are white people who don't give a shite about this?

And I don't hate all white people. My dad was kind of a dick, and you seem a little dumb, but my mom and brothers were cool. My wife is alright too.

And once again, your ignorant woke arse doesn't even address the point he's making.

I'm sure you're just fine with Woke Hollywood. Do you really not understand the point?

The film wasn't woke in really any capacity. You can make the argument that some casting choices were.

Did you watch the movie? Do you have thoughts on it? How do you know it wasn't great if you haven't seen it yet?

I still think they should have an award for best dialogue.

Scarface would have won hands down. Its the only movie I have ever watched where the word f**k was used as a noun, verb, adjective, pronoun, adverb, preposition and conjunction...... sometimes in the same sentence.

Who gives a shite? Jack Warner invented the Oscars to legitimize he and his Hollywood friends in high society. That's all they were ever for, and they're a popularity contest. Not much merit is involved.
