No. 18 LSU put together one of its best performances of the season Saturday, rolling past Auburn 38-17 at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Quarterback Sam Leavitt led the way as the Tigers improved to 6-2 overall, picking up their first SEC road victory since defeating Arkansas on October 19, 2024.

LSU jumped out to a commanding 31-10 halftime lead behind three touchdown passes and a rushing score from Leavitt.

Wide receiver Jackson Harris caught two first-half touchdowns, including a 70-yard strike, while tight end Trey'Dez Green made an immediate impact in his return from injury with a 15-yard touchdown reception.

Leavitt also scored on a 4-yard touchdown run just before halftime to give LSU a three-touchdown advantage heading into the locker room.

LSU's defense delivered another strong performance, keeping Auburn's offense in check for much of the afternoon.

The victory was LSU's second straight following last week's 31-0 shutout of Mississippi State.

The Tigers will have a bye next weekend before returning home to face Alabama on November 7.

That’s the most complete game I’ve seen from this team. New coach and 40+ new players need time for that chemistry to build and it’s happening at just the right time. Great road win, Tigers!!! Rest up!
