Tariffs have caused major issues with our sales this last year. With that said I do believe we needed to raise tariffs of several countries who had been taking advantage of us. I’m kind of in the middle on this issue, but Im going to be interested in this as well. Tariffs went up in the first administration under Trump as well, and Biden left those largely in place. How far back do they want to go, and how do you refund all the companies who have paid these tariffs? There’s no way they can expect the government to repay. It would cost the fed govt. trillions of dollars depending how far back they go.

I would be happy with him. This was kind of a rebuild year anyway, and his NFL caliber QB got injured 4 games ago. Despite that, he’s sitting at 6-3 likely to finish 8-4/9-3.

I’m not overly worried about Verge. He will have some input into who the next coach is, but he is not going to make this choice alone.

Main Street vs. Wall Street. While Wall Street is doing quite well, main street is hurting. Gas prices have barely dropped, grocery costs have stayed the same or gone higher, everybody is getting their annual letter from health insurance going up a lot again, and the Russia/Ukraine conflict continues. Some, or all of these things, frustrate voters. Trump is going to catch the blame from a lot of people whether that’s fair or not.

As hard as it is for me to say, 50 Cent is the best thing to happen to Shreveport in a long time.

It’s really amazing how Lester Earl continues to screw over LSU so far removed.

Hopefully getting into HS coaching. I’d love to see him make the jump to college, and maybe make it onto the LSU staff eventually.
