Yep. And none of them have suffered anything remotely resembling abuse. Nor has anyone in my family. Nor have any priests I’ve ever known been accused. The so-called scandal is a media concoction. Public school teachers pose a greater threat to your kids than Catholic priests do.

No, the fact of the matter is that the “victims” don’t go to the cops. They go straight to the diocese because they lose leverage in any civil suit once the allegations are made public. They and their attorneys are as much a part of the cover-up as the bishops are.
And lastly, the abuse “victims” overwhelmingly are vulnerable adults and post-pubescent males. It’s not about pedophilia. It’s about homosexuality (google “lavender mafia”). It’s no coincidence that abuse has virtually been eliminated once we started excluding figs from the priesthood.
