Again, this has been discussed for well over a year now.
OK...so, has the Trump admin prosed any legislation advocating for the elimination of income taxes that I am unaware of? I mean, I am sure such legislation could be written in a few days? Or does it require a full year to write an actual bill and send it to Congress?

In fact, the interview in question is literally from 1 year ago you imbecile. It is from March 11, 2025
LMAO...so, someone posted an interview from a year ago? Seems about par for the course and confirms my original point.
Look, I support eliminating taxes. I think it's great. But talking about it and doing absolutely NOTHING is the essence of ineptitude, IMHO.
Or we can keep on believing in the Easter Bunny, and strippers with a heart of gold.

So we all subsidize everyone making under 150k?
That’s ridiculous and will never pass.
No income tax period

$150k/person or household? Not that this will ever happen.

Nobody is surprised that anyone in the TDS Brigade is opposed to anything Trump is for.

You think a random twitter person that has no affiliation with the Trump administration reposting an interview from March 2025 confirms your original point or any of your subsequent drivel? You might actually have a learning disability, so apologies for my imbecile comment before. I didn't realize you were actually afflicted.

Yep. The OP somehow doesn't get this.

Need to figure out a way to reduce my salary and have my company pay my kids the balance so my kids can start "paying for their own shite", while I slip under the $150k mark
And if that's $150k per household, sorry wifey it's time to start filing the papers. You can "go live" with your parents

Well, technically everyone would pay no income tax on their first $150k of income, I believe was the original proposal. I'm not sure the math would actually be doable for this (with how little I actually have faith government spending could be reduced).

LMAO...I guess this is the "go to response" for the intellectually challenged. I support this, Mensa.

nah, this would apply to the people that really believe that Trump could accomplish something of this magnitude.

For every $1 in federal tax you should get 1 vote. It’s extremely fair and is self balancing

Give me $300k married filing jointly and no more BS itemizing and I’ll be a happy man.

Trump says lots of things that he doesn’t end up doing. Or he throws tax dollars at it and it fails.

I guess I still need Schedule E. Just get rid of the dumb REPS rules too while we’re at it. And simplify 1031.

Seems like I read about Trump having this idea in 2024, and even before during his first term.
May not have had any significant legs, but the thought process has been there.
