Taxes are necessary evil. Look at what has been happening to civil society since Howard Jarvis’s anti-tax hysteria took over the Republican Party. It is easy to blame our societal decay on Democrats but the anti-tax movement is also to blame. Look at our cities, roads and public spaces and you can see the decline.

Everyone needs skin in the game and should pay something if we are going to have an income tax.

I don't know why people continue to think you can replace personal income taxes by raising corporate taxes that will just get passed through to consumers of their products or services.

"Conservatives" love paying taxes. They say they don't, but they bitch every time Trump tries to lower taxes or shift the burden to foreign countries.

They are against the government making money from multibillion dollar corporations that essentially control the world.
They are against foreign countries paying for access to the richest market in the world.
They think the only way to fund a government is to steal from its citizens.
These are the same people who constantly bitch about low birth rates and frequently use the phrase "you get more of what you subsidize," but then endlessly complain when Trump has a plan that will let families have more children and earlier in life.
"Conservatives" are just little bitches with no imagination. They complain about the status quo, then complain even more when someone tries to change it.
