Latest CFP Projection Has Five SEC Teams In The Playoff But Not LSU

LSU is on the outside looking in of CBS Sports' latest College Football Playoff projection.

CBS Sports has five SEC teams in its projected 12-team field, but the Tigers are not one of them.

Texas leads the way as the projected No. 1 overall seed and SEC champion, followed by Georgia at No. 4, Alabama at No. 7, Florida at No. 8, and Ole Miss at No. 11.

LSU sits at 3-1 following Saturday night's dominant 35-6 win over Texas A&M, with its only loss coming on the road against Ole Miss.

No. 2 Ohio State 3-1 (Big Ten champion)
No. 3 Miami 4-0 (ACC champion)

Ole Miss will drop games to UT and UGA. Oklahoma has been struggling, but playing on the road there wont be a walk in the park.

Probably looked our depth chart injury reports and concluded we won't hold up over the long haul of a 9 game SEC calendar.

UF will get in at 11-1 or 10-2... If they can manage to get 27 pts against Texas, the can win that game. Im not sold on UT's offense. Playing at Missouri is the perfect trap game for them this weekend. Bama will get in at 10-2 unless they have a meltdown @ Tenn.
