He has talked about it several times during his campaign and after he started his 2nd term. Zero income tax for most Americans.

This was always nothing more than a conservative wet dream. Don't get me wrong I love the idea in principle but it's not practical. The top 5% of earners pay 60% and the bottom 50% of earners pay 3% of all Federal Income Taxes.
The only way for it to work is to bring everyone up to the top bracket which would be political suicide.
Unfortunately, same applies to a National Sales tax. Sounds great in principal but would be political suicide.

We have coddled the lower and middle class so much they no longer want to pay any taxes and want ultra wealthy to pay 2%of their assets for their programs. We are screwed.

He’s going to need to lay out the economics of that plan.
We’re running deficits in the trillions while collecting income taxes. Those deficits fund a lot of the imports he’s talking about.
