The $$$ you send Washington is how they get their power. If you want limited government. If you want to drain the swamp, you will quit sending them money. Does that make sense to you?

It’s way too late for conservatism to fix this. And the GOP leadership sure as hell isn’t conservative.

There it is in a nutshell.

We are a year and half out from any vote, and by then God only knows what the insane Dem policy will have manifest. Place will be on fire with crime and interest rate hikes and massive inflation. And that don't even take into account the attacks on the Putin/Xi alliance and what that will bring. And a more desperate and fearful electorate (if elections matter will anymore) will demand more radical re solutions.

It was the ballot harvesting of fraudulent votes allowed by covid based mail in ballots that blocked Trump from a runaway win. The whole World knows that. Time will tell how long the Dems can maintain their "believe us and not your lying eyes" narrative before the pain gets too intense and the narrative collapses.

Note how many Congressional Republicans went to the DC jail with MTG to shed light on blatant political weaponization of law. There is no way peaceful politics ends what is essentially a Fascist coup with cowards like the House Republicans supposedly being the tip of the 'conservative' spear.

Ron had best keep his promise not to run against Trump, and divide the team, or he's toast on a national stage. The more he fights, the dirtier he gets.

The shrill, hostile, violent, aggressive tone referenced the article is applicable to Trump supporters, as in fact is far more prevalent among Trump supporters.

frick you, how’s that for violent.

You sound like the democrats who hired people to go to Trump rallies and cause fights so the news could air stories about his violent rallies. POS

Yes. It actually helped in the Black communities alot.

That doesn't mean that his policies on the border had a net positive effect, much less quantified.

Actually, he did alot. The biggest is that now 75% of American want China cut off from the USA in trade. So the waking up now has the support.

None of that indicates how he "fix[ed] trade and taxes".

Next His tariff plan started a cascade of businesses moving from China.

Kind of hard to tease out from exodus due to draconian COVID restrictions in China.

Trump is all about removing the MFN status.

What did he do when he had the chance? Nothing. That's my point, he's mostly just talk.

It will take years to undo all of the damage and no 1 president will get it all addressed.

You just said Trump fixed it. That doesn't seem "fixed" to me except in a veterinary medicine sense.

We need generations of Presidents putting America First and removing the woke socialist agenda.

This is where you're losing people. That's all just smokescreen bullshite. Red meat to get people riled up clicking on links.

Our current problem is the constraints on liberty our debt load has created. We're shackled to it and no one wants to change it.

Has little to do with my point.

Your point was that he reduced the budget, my point is that he never had a budget.

the Fed was concerned that the conflict would harm the economy and push up unemployment rates.

That's pure horseshite. You can't expect to fool people with that who were actually around at the time and can remember the events as they happened.

Three modest rate cuts in the second half of 2019 had a positive effect on the economy.

Of course it did, that's the whole point. But we were in a period of growth when you would expect rates to get back to more historic normals, like around 4%. There was no need to stimulate the economy - especially after the tax cuts, you're Chinese trade war 'crisis' notwithstanding.

This is a poster who is having an intelligent conversation that's not in Trump's corner (not sying you are against him either). Thank you.

Don't thank me too soon - ask anyone.

If that was the case he would have beat Biden and have both houses of Congress be R

It’s very bold to make such a claim when the data is there to disprove it

All I have seen is a bunch of Ronbots acting like liberal “Trump is a meanie” triggered pussies, typing, crying and attacking Trump and his supporters on this board for weeks now. GTFOHWTS.

Should we just go ahead and grant Trump the nomination for 2028 as well as 2024? What about even 2032? When will it no longer be "his turn"? Or are we all stuck backing a horse that cannot win until Trump dies?

Your not going to get independents like me that gave up on the republicans throwing out McCain and the likes.

It’s just back to the Uniparty. But at least that means the adults like Biden stay in charge. So you’ve got that.

That is laughable. The number of people who claim to vote “R” in every election but hate Trump is a number that grows daily. Even on this board it’s a vocal group.

No it's not.

Literally you got one guy who was spouting the Putin Trump connection in 2016 and into 2017 was saying they would have a fall out and it hurt the USA when it all came out.

That guy is 24/7 RD and in attack mode.

You literally have one that was a kaisch man who hates Trump and always had in the same group you are talking about.

Several hated Trump in 2016 for his attack on Trade with China and were avowed Never Trumpers. Those same people call Trump and America First Socialists on this board. They are in that same group you are talking about too.

Then you have those who voted HRC showing back up like naws...etc. Same group.

You haven't noticed the multitude of conservatives arguing that Trump is too liberal and while he did really good work the first 3 years of his term, he utterly failed us in 2020? No mention of him being mean or nice, not triggered, no crying involved.

You haven't seen any of that?
