That is exactly what I plan to do. But I want to take my property with me.

Thinking about calling my Metro Council Rep. Rowdy Gaudet to see if it not too late to annex in City of BR. Because I also don't like the way this City of St. George is headed. Too many Karens. I want out.

I know Rowdy Gaudet made the motion to annex many properties back in like September of 2021. And if St. George is still technically unincorporated. I want to get out before it too late and annex to City of BR like Women's Hospital and a few neighborhoods did in 2021. I do not want to deal with the expensive permit nightmare to come or have my commercial property downgraded to a lower class zoning like what is about to happen to the LRK Property if they lose their lawsuit.

Good luck to anyone dumb enough to think the courts are going to go against a legally adopted incorporation voted on and passed in an election.

lol courts tell voters to frick off on a damn near daily basis in this country. Why would this be any different?

The Kleinprters have a legitimate gripe, but they are barking up the wrong tree here. SG is a done deal.

The incorporation challenge will be dismissed because it has already been decided and the time limit to challenge it has expired, nor can a district court cannot effectively overturn the Louisiana Supreme Court’s “reversed and rendered” judgment.
The only possible outcome involving incorporation is in regards to incorporation date, which would either require the parties to ask SCoLA for clarification (which would just be a simple procedural correction), or would be attached to the current suit by St. George challenging the later incorporation date (2019 vs. 2024).

The dream of a united Baton Rouge, under one beautiful flag of intolerance and financial ineptitude, is dead.

Yes. They took value from that land by rezoning it to a lesser classification. If the government devalues your property, they need to compensate you for it. That is an illegal taking.

What if I wait to sell my house until I have nothing but section 8 around me. Did someone steal something from me?

You fricked up buddy. You should have built your development years ago but you probably held out because you wanted more and more. Well you missed. Stop blaming others for your shortcomings.

Devaluing a property from $20 million to $18 million is $2 million. City of SG owes them $2 million if they want to rezone to a lesser classification that takes $2 million.

The more you type the more you make a fool of yourself.

Value isn’t something the government has to ensure you have.

If someone built a waste dump next to your land do they owe you something if your land is now worth less? Your argument is asinine and you are a bad developer that decided to wait too long to build. No one owes you anything. Go milk some cows moron.

Sounds like a great idea. Whenever you have an emergency and you're sitting there waiting for BRPD or BRFD to finally show up, I hope you're still happy with your decision.

They really don't. They basically want the government to guarantee their speculative investments which is what real estate truly is. They have no real argument and this is just a last desperate attempt by the usual suspects to inconvenience StG.

Isn’t the problem now that the rezoning is preventing them or buyers from developing the property commercially?

Here’s a good question that I bet you won’t answer.

When the city built the pecue exit on the tax payer dime it increased the value of your property. Do you now owe the city money? I’m using your logic here.

Correct. This is an example of a bad businessman.

When you decide to wait you run risk. This guy wrongly thought his value could only appreciate.

Rezoning happens all the time. Nobody is entitled to permanent zoning, how long has this property been held and why wasn't it developed sooner? I know people who have lost their asses buying land on the speculation of gas development that never materialized, do they get to sue someone too?

Because he was waiting for the city to build a new exit off the interstate to increase the value of his land and is now subsequently suing the city for reducing the value of his land.

He’s a moron. He’s going to create a new alter and post some similar shite next month.

What’s the value of his land without all the millions of dollars of city built roads? You can’t have it both ways.

Amazing how many people are okay with an illegal taking of property without just compensation, violation of Kleinpeter's 5th Amendment Right is a violation of everyone's 5th Amendment rights. Whose property will be taken next? or rezoned against their will next?

How about all of my time i have to sit in traffic just because the Kleinpeter’s want to jam in some shitty development?
