Alabama OC Ryan Grubb Apologizes After Calling Out Crimson Tide Fans

Alabama offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb issued an apology Monday after his comments about Crimson Tide fans booing the team's offense during Saturday's win over Florida State sparked backlash.

Grubb revealed during his Monday press conference that he used the fans' reaction as motivation for his players after Alabama opened the game with consecutive three-and-outs.

"I was proud of the guys, they just didn't have any quit," Grubb said. "We had some boo birds. I told the guys, 'Shoot, guys, if you would've quit as fast as some of your fans, s***, we wouldn't have won the game.' So I was proud of them, for a bunch of 19-year-olds to go out there down 21-6 and not flinch, I was super proud of them."
