City St. George is NOT incorporated, therefore is null, void and has no legal authority.

Due to a lack of order from any court declaring the date of incorporation, the alleged City of St. George does not actually exist.
Louisiana Revised Statue 33:4
E.(1) If the district court determines that the provisions of this Subpart have been complied with, that the municipality has the capacity to provide the proposed public services within a reasonable period of time, and that the incorporation is reasonable, the district court shall enter an order declaring the date the municipality shall become incorporated. The order shall set forth the name and the boundaries of the municipality. Unless this order is vacated by a timely suspensive appeal, a copy of the order shall be filed in the office of the secretary of state.
(2)(a) If the district court determines that the provisions of this Subpart have not been complied with, that the proposed municipality will not be able to provide the public services proposed in the petition within a reasonable period of time, or that the incorporation is unreasonable, the district court shall enter an order denying the incorporation.
The trial court denied incorporation on May 31, 2022 and therefore also denied an incorporation date. The 1st Circuit Court affirmed the decision of the trial court on July 14, 2023. The Louisiana Supreme Court reversed both decisions on April 26, 2024.
Notably, the decision of the LA Supreme Court did NOT enter an order declaring the date the proposed municipality became incorporated pursuant to LA R.S. 33:4(E)(1) above, nor did the Court remand the case to the 19th JDC Trial Court for further proceedings or orders, specifically. to enter an order declaring the date the proposed municipality shall become incorporated pursuant to LA R.S. 33:4(E)(1).
To date, the 19th JDC has not entered an order declaring the date "St. George" shall become incorporated nor has any Court in Louisiana authorized to make such a declaration or order of incorporation under LA R.S. 33:4. The uncertainty of an effective incorporation date by district court impacts the property rights to owners of property within this alleged city and proposed incorporation area and cannot be ignored.
Due to lack of lawful order declaring an actual incorporation date, this alleged "City of St. George" does not have lawful legal authority to do anything or currently exists.
Everything this alleged city has done since April of 2024 exceeds legal authority, is furthermore invalid, null and void.

The developer trying to squeeze in everything under the sun on that Kleinpeter property. If we can’t have the zoning we want then we say you aren’t a real city

Just a reminder that the politicians for St George will likely be the same as every other politician .
Even 100% republican Central was full of grifters claiming to be down home conservative patriots but in reality were money whores who sold out the community for $$$$$.
Even when we voted out 100% of the entire local Government, the new crop were no better.
“Vanity vanity all is vanity”
I have lost faith in humanity.
Good luck

Maybe an attorney can answer this question:
If an incorporation date has not been officially declared yet by Court with juridiction to do so yet, can an incorporation date be declared retroactively? Or must it be set in the present or future only?
LA R.S. 33:4 States following:
"incorporation is reasonable, the district court shall enter an order declaring the date the municipality shall become incorporated. The order shall set forth the name and the boundaries of the municipality. "
The language of the above law seems to deny being able to set this date after the fact or in past. So if city is not incorporated yet, the incorporation date would have to be set forth or in near future and that would mean every legal proceeding taken on behalf the City of St. George would have to be thrown out prior to incorporation date, because legally City of St. George was not a city yet or had legal authority to do so yet.

They are claiming the City of St. George should not exist all because they City rightfully so won't allow them to build a massive Perkins Rowe type development on a tiny strip of land between Pecue and and a residential neighborhood.
Basically, Kleinpeters want to rezone their land so they can put a big commercial development right next to woodridge subdivision and St. George is saying they can't. So Kleinpeters are throwing a temper tantrum.

Your post history is something else. Are you referencing this city?

In City of St. George, (I call it City of Nazi Germany - this city is quickly becoming a mandatory H.O.A. run by busy bodies),

Ironically, the same post of your i linked, is about you complaining about St. George not allowing your buddy to use his yard as a junkyard. Now, you appear to be siding with the Kleinpeters who want to destroy the home values of the people that live in Woodridge subdivision.

Good luck to anyone dumb enough to think the courts are going to go against a legally adopted incorporation voted on and passed in an election.

It was a real city when they asked for the development. When they said No, now it’s not a real city. Somehow I bet if they were green lighted, it would be a real city.

I agree: City of St. George is definitely becoming a mandatory and impossible H.O.A. to deal with that i never agreed to. How can this city be undone? I don't think most people living here realize how disorganized this city is and that their permit office is so strict, I cannot find a contractor willing to work on my house because it not worth the hassle and expense (very expensive money grab) dealing with City of St. George Permitting office.
City of St. George is turning into Animal Farm by George Orwell, but the sheep keep saying this city is so great, wait until your property becomes a target or you are denied your property rights like the Kleinpeter Family that has owned their property for well over a 100 years. I want out of this city like yesterday.

But your example of your friend wanting to use his property as a junkyard isn't a great one. Need more specifics, however.

I have heard this. Isn't this because of a particular inspector? I've heard there is an inspector from the city of BR, that once SG began incorporation, BR basically said "here you can have him" and he's awful to deal with.

That property you are referencing, was being used as a hay field for the entirety of that 100 years. It wasn't until the Pecue widening and formation of St. George did the Kleinpeters realize they can turn a buck on that property, and are willing to further destroy the home values of the people that live in woodridge subdivision, which backs into those fields (i know, i used to live there).

Another aside to woodridge. The city of BR screwed that neighborhood. They had massive drainage issues once work started on that Pecue widening (not necessarily the cities fault, moreso the state). Then, the city of BR DPW tore down the fences for those houses to put in these monstrosity catch basins to alleviate the drainage problems. The catch basins were so large that people living there could no longer put up a fence between their neighbors. And from what i've heard since i've left, i don't think the people there have much recourse because the city of Baton Rouge is saying "tough shite". There was a local news report on this a couple years ago.
Residents worry commercial developments will cause flooding along Pecue Lane
Neighbors say 'dangerous, unsightly' drainage design could cause liability
