In 6 years, there will be about 150 million homes in the US.

70% x 150 million = 105 million homes

They are offering 25 to 50 percent over asking price.

Let's go with 25% on top of an average US home price of $500K = $625K per copy

105 million x $625K = $65T

Blackrock currently has $9T under management.

The suggestion that in 6 years Blackrock will own 70% of homes is ridiculous. By the way, today institutional investors own about 1 million out of 144 million = 0.7% of the market

The Republican vs Democrat is just a facade.

I think there are a handful of decent Republicans - Massie, Rand Paul, Justin Amash (formerly). Most of the rest of them are just moderate Democrats.

One of their minions called me while i was out of town.

Foreign broad with thick accent asking if our house was for sale, or if we were interested in selling, i said no, she said some shite about offering up to x over what it's worth, i hung up.

I would take 50% over market value tho.

When you (the OP) have to exaggerating, especially THAT badly, to make your point, it's a tacit admission that you knows you don't have a strong argument.

Vanguard and State Street say hello. Not an attorney but wouldn't that be a stretch without also breaking up Vanguard and State Street and probably others.

NOT with 85% control of the S&P 500

Walk us through the process. Is it a DOJ thing or a change in the rules by Congress? They own both plus the 500.

So muh corporate monopoly is ok to preserve muh democracy and crush muh racism. I’d hate to be given the task of defending a leftist position on anything

I’m not saying this isn’t happening, but how can they continue this?

Home builders will just continue to build homes and make 25-50% off these suckers.

Or, my home is paid off, so I sell it at an above market price and just build another one for less money.

It makes no sense.

What about incentivizing people that don’t have money and don’t have good credit to buy homes.
They’re just starting to collect good credit fee’s on people’s mortgages. This will eventually pop and Blackrock subsidiaries will buy in a large amount. That’s the long play that they are doing.

You aren’t wrong re diversion. Someone in the know told me the same thing. They’ll do all sorts of stuff while our eyes are on the Israel war, or Ukraine, or whatever flavor of the day.

The guy I was responding to? Yeah that was terrible math and critical thinking. Blackrock can't even legally accomplish that since so much of their assets under management are tied up in index funds and ETFs.

That’s exactly right. Very well stated. But I would suggest to you that it is far too late. They will kill anyone who gets too close. They will light the world on fire before they give up. In 1913, the bankers got control of the country and began a project that is nearing completion. They have done things you’d think I was crazy for saying, though I know them to be true. We would have to wrest back control of our currency, and our very minds. I see little chance of that happening. We got played. We took baubles for our souls and our destinies. Our leaders were weak and sold us out.
