Well, the young man did confess. Black Liberals are very upset and just can not understand why they can not sit on a jury.

Why should race be a factor in jury selection? Is there some legal precedent for that being allowed?
Can appeals be based on racial make up of the jury?

Don't be sucked into the programming.... it's because of their answers to the questions and their perceived suitability.

It’s sad that every attorney in that room knows full well that an impartial jury of black Americans is impossible to impanel. And it’s all because of disgusting, divisive leftist rhetoric.

The mongrols complaining about this have no concept of legal precedents.

The potential black jurors admitted media coverage affected their thoughts on the case…it’s a disqualifying admission…yet liberals don’t care about the rules…

Collin County is only 10% black. At best they might have had 2-3 in the jury. He made a poor choice of stabbing someone in that county if he was expecting to have black jurors.

Did you watch the O.J. trial? The evidence is overwhelming that he murdered her. A black juror said: 'Das jus it. Dere was TOO MUCH evidence.' I guess her logic was that it must be a conspiracy by the white people. If he really killed her there would just be a little bit of evidence. But Noooo.

Black people are the most tribally racist folks in the country.

How excited are you about this prospect?

"We all believe he is innocent, so why were we not allowed to be on the jury?"

Can appeals be based on racial make up of the jury?
The Supreme Court established this prohibition in the landmark 1986 case Batson v. Kentucky, ruling that prosecutors violate the Equal Protection Clause by using peremptory strikes to exclude jurors based on race. This precedent was recently reaffirmed in Pitchford v. Cain (May 2026), where the Court ruled 5-to-4 that a death row inmate must be afforded a proper opportunity to challenge and rebut a prosecutor’s race-neutral justifications for striking Black jurors.
Under the Batson framework, the process for challenging racial discrimination in jury selection involves three steps:
1. The defense must make a prima facie showing that the strikes were racially motivated.
2. The prosecutor must provide a race-neutral explanation for the challenge.
3. The trial judge must determine if the defense has proven the prosecutor’s reason is a pretext for discrimination.
In Pitchford, Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote for the majority that the Mississippi trial court failed to complete the third step by denying the defense counsel the opportunity to argue that the prosecutor’s reasons (such as lateness or family criminal history) were pretextual. This decision highlights ongoing efforts to enforce Batson against racial bias, though critics note that prosecutors often use creative, facially neutral reasons to exclude jurors, making successful challenges difficult.

No lefty will admit this but there is zero chance, regardless of evidence, that a black jury convicts Anthony.
Zero.
Zero.

The problem is that by and large "the community" normalizes and rationalizes the destructive behavior that destroys their own community. There is always an excuse coming from that community as to why one of its own should be given a pass for garbage behavior.. I guarantee you that if all participants in this deed had been white, the white community would want him punished to the fullest extent of the law, and would come unglued if he was let off with a slap on the wrist. We don't want this trash in our communities black, white or other.
