Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry offered a brief response this week when asked about the SEC's ongoing legal battle with LSU and the possibility of the Tigers being expelled from the conference.

Landry kept his response short and to the point.

“Ridiculous. Can we just play football?”

The SEC's latest legal filing seeks to preserve the conference's authority to potentially expel LSU, with conference presidents and chancellors expected to discuss the situation on Thursday.
