Seems silly. You might as well say they shouldn't be able to on retaliate or defend themselves at all. Something about that no one would ever agree to.
Oh well. We should retain the ability to strike them any time when it becomes clear they are predictably lying again.
Tought shite. Talk to us in ten years after you've proven the last 47 were the anomoly when it comes to IRGC trustworthyness.

I hope Trump stands firm to his red line. If not, this likely will be mocked by the deranged dems as his defining TACO moment.
Trump will be ridiculed by Dems no matter what he does. It's irrational to use that as your cause for concern.

Lying about what? If we keep being the aggressor they should have the right to retaliate. It would be absurd to suggest otherwise. You think any country would be ok with just giving up all defense capabilities and be picked off like sitting ducks?

I didn’t read the whole thread but I did read this
And it kinda infers that you never presented your red line. In fact, you never said “red line” in your quoted post. This conveniently leaves you an out.

Then we should finish it right now.
Make them go the Japan route.
We'll see what we agreed to. Nobody is going to be happy with it other than the Iranians since they will survive another day. Not sure they should be doing a victory lap considering what the CIA and Mossad are going to do to them now that they're weak and the public is pissed.

If removing the uranium isn't part of it, it's all bullshite and we'll be dealing with it again within five years.

We're going to be dealing with this again within a year.

Have to have
1. Support for the Houthis, Hamas and Hezbollah should be undetectably low for the next few years.
2. Remove the nuclear material, Iran pledges not to enrich uranium past power usage levels, and Iran submits to an inspection regimen with teeth.
3. Money to rebuild comes from their oil sales with no western aid. An exception to this would be if we get political liberalization.
4. Strait is100% open outside of internationally recognized territorial waters.
No Europussies involved in the oil rebuild would be nice, but not necessary.

MAJOR ETA: I hope we can all agree that if the spin to defend this deal focuses on analyzing extreme minutia to claim that this deal is marginally better than the Obama deal, that this signals this was a huge failure
It’s a tell that you place this boundary but none on the other side. How about: If we get the nuclear material and an inspection program with teeth then this was an unqualified success?

Obama’s Muslim bowing arse had no deal, you clown. Obama is why we are where we are now.

I don’t understand the point of this thread. Is this some sort of TDS or Massie struggle session?

Just curious how you define this?

The purpose was supposed to be for people to post their personal red lines
One guy did. I praised him for it
SFP immediately said that’s not what this thread is for
In other words this thread is for the same thing every thread SFP starts is for
So he can post 200 times and say nothing.

SlowFlowPro:
Before the Iran deal is announced anyone want to post their personal red lines?
Just list whatever red lines that, if crossed, would make you consider the deal a failure?
Posted by Tigerinthewoods on 5/23/26 at 5:20 pm to SlowFlowPro:
No nuclear material refinement
No nuclear weapon/weapons grade material
No ballistic missiles/development
No reparations of any kind
No restrictions whatsoever on Strait of Hormuz
No attacks on people of Iran
Any violations of any point and we send the ordnance.
SlowFlowPro response: "This thread isn't about that"

I'm sorry Slowflopper, I somehow misunderstood you.
But then, your mommy warned you from the time you were little that no sane person would ever be able to understand you. The dear lady was so right.

Allowing pedophile worshipping goat humpers any idea they can control an international water way.

I don’t. Our nuclear experts do. The previous inspection regime was known to be weak and circumventable.

I’m still glad I voted for him but this was a severe miscalculation. I don’t see how we save face with any deal that’s brokered.

Methhead sister in law promises to stop doing meth. 3 months later she's doing it again. This will be the Iran deal.
Posted on 5/23/26 at 9:53 pm to SlowFlowPro
If it does not include turning over 100% of uranium and unimpeded, unannounced inspections-then it's not a deal, it's a capitulation and it's dishonor for our military.
If all this is the straits open then why did we do this the straits was already open?
