Vice President JD Vance is no longer in Islamabad. He departed Pakistan late in the evening on April 11, 2026, following 21 hours of high-stakes peace negotiations with Iranian officials.
Vance confirmed his departure during a brief news conference, stating that the U.S. delegation would be returning to Washington after failing to reach a conclusive peace agreement to end the war with Iran.
