A POTUS, other than BHO, who says and does what he says

Without a regime change, we'll have to lick this calf over again in a few years. We can't trust these terrorist sponsors to do anything but continue their terrorism worldwide. What happened to Trump's promise to the Iranian people? Without regime change, this is not a victory for the good guys. It's just a postponement of the inevitable. Just my opinion.

You have such a selective memory. Remember the Lebanon marine barracks? Remember Charlie Hebdo? Remember the subway bombings in Europe? Remember Lockerbie? Remember the attacks on the WTC? Remember Yemen and the Houthi attacks on shipping and the Somali hijackings and piracy? Remember Hamas and Hezbollah? Remember the Taliban? The list can go on and on. Iran is behind all of these and more, yet you posit that WE are the aggressor. Man, you live in lala land.

I bet you’re really fun at parties

What would the postings of uninformed people prove?

Is it your suggestion that we are just now seeking vengeance for that? Is that how we normally operate? I just want to make sure I understand who I'm talking with.

Even for you, this is dumb
No one has a clue about the nuances of a signed deal. Its like a divorce settlement. Who the eff knows why one party gave up the vacay condo? But people will claim that was a HUGE mistake, and the one spouse got hosed
Its all just spin

They've shown they can shut it down, tank the world economy, and we can't do shite about it, which is the same deterrence that nukes would provide.
What they did during this conflict isn't in the same universe of destruction to the global environment as what would happen if a nuclear exchange occurred between Israel and Iran.

This is the correct answer.
The isolationists on the board simply claim that whatever happens is the worst case scenario and a disaster because no one really knows anything about the inner workings of the conflict. It's what they've done from the beginning and it's what they do now.
It's a pretty convenient position to take.
Then they turn around and ridicule those who support it for doing the exact same thing, but in the opposite direction (whatever happens is a 8-D chess victory) with zero self-awareness that they are spinning just as hard as the sunshine pumpers, they're just spinning gloom and doom and failure.
Truth is, no one really knows enough to evaluate the decisions made on this Iran thing, and it will probably be 5-10 years before enough reliable information comes out about it to know.

While this is true, there may be more than one way to affect a regime change.
Instead of occupying the country continuously for ten years, it might be just as effective (and lots cheaper) to simply push their shite in every 8 or 10 years or so for a few months like we just did. The Iranian people might get just as tired of that as they would a continuous occupation.
Even if it doesn't result in a regime change, it's a strategy that we can feasibly commit to to avoid them getting nuclear weapons.

No red lines, just wanted to drop this off here. The buck stops with the President, but Reince Priebus, John Bolton, James Mattis, Mike Pompeo and Dan Coats are ultimately why we are having this conversation.

I want assurances Iran will not build a nuclear bomb, or develop a missile to deliver it.
I want that enriched uranium turned over to our forces.......every single ounce.
And I want unrestricted access to those centrifuges. That be the ones Pooky gave them pallets of money, delivered in the night, to purchase.
I do not trust the Iranians nor do I trust Barook Hussein Obama.
