What tap dance?

I said regime change was almost impossible and not even something we could discuss without full scale invasion, where we would almost assuredly lose (although technically the regime may become another totalitarian regime).

I was never for that. Plenty of others were. Now the question is if THEY tap-dance and pull a 180

My concern is any deal short of the stated goals at the beginning of the war will weaken US position in the world and embolden a dangerous foe in Iran.

We assassinated their religious leader, attempted to assassinate their next religious leader (and killed his immediate family in the process). These actions will have horrible consequences for us in the future if we do not remove their power structure.

The odds of those same people proclaiming this is the best deal ever once the echo chamber spin begins are about 99%

Can you even name the stated goals from the beginning?

The point is to get people on record before the spin starts.

You can see how few participate shows how scared they are of doing this

The admin did their usual strategy of flooding the zone with numerous potential options so that, no matter what, they could proclaim victory in the end.

We didn't get regime change
We didn't remove their nuclear capability
They have shown they can shut down the SOH and we can't do much about it

I'm curious how they spin this

There will not be a peace deal

One might announced

what is going to happen is they are going to make Trump look ike a fool a 2nd time in a month, and then he's going to show no mercy...

Trump is hope like hell he doesn't have to do it....to put Troops in harms way

but I see no out

Iran doesn't negotiate, they don't give up

Demons have to put to death...they can spend enternity with MOhammad

Wow. That’s gonna be a bunch of red lines, particularly when you add the rest of Americans’ as well. Poor Trump, he’s gonna be pretty busy trying to satisfy everyone.

I'm absolutely certain that a poster who won't even acknowledge that President Trump has sealed off the Southern border is going to have a reasonable, fair, and objective assessment of this situation, too.

Mine was ever getting involved in the first place. Why do you think these people hate so so much its because we never mind our own business. That's America first!

Anything that left the Islamic Republic’s regime in power was ultimately not worth the past three months.

They have proven time and again over the years they can not be trusted in the long run and they will rebuild.
