We did and he failed. So back to my original point, LSU is still no threat even with Lane. But like you said, nobody gives a shite about LSU.

Ok, LSU is never a factor so I see. A high caliber coach at Ole Miss, who hasn’t won the SEC since 1963, is the same as LSU. It’s not like LSU has more potential, resources, etc…

You are downplaying his success as a coach so if he comes to LSU, he poses no threat to the rest of the league. This should make conference schools glad because LSU won’t be a contender. Am I right?
So all the SEC teams should be glad if he comes here.
Lately for LSU, yes. Now let’s count National Championships this Century in spite of that.
Even people with money screwed up family life. It’s a shame .
I agree. Why pay the athletic department if they can’t handle hiring a coach?
