Melt? That would be glorious to see.

Written notarized affidavits are “testimony” under the law.

The same as if placed under oath and deposed.

That would be the LSBA, but they are powerless on that issue.

He's been around DC long enough. That's why he understand perfectly what was happening.

Tainted? Really doesn't matter....His opinions and votes on the court will outlive him and.might well save the nation.

Some imaginary "taint" doesn't matter much.

I love how people want to pretend they will be able to put an asterisk on a Supreme Court Opinion.

The ABA became leftist hack organization years ago. No credibility at all any more.

What Judge provided was a sworn statement, not an affidavit. And sworn statements are only accepted by courts in limited circumstances - mainly in uncontested proceedings. If this were an actual legal proceeding no court would accept what he provided - the court would require him to be subject to a cross-examination.

Volhalla, frankly, you can blame Diane Feinstein for an fbi investigation not taking place

She had many many weeks to confidentially ask for one and it never happened

It is completely inappropriate to call for an fbi investigation at this point.

This isn't a court it's a job interview

If this was an actual court this case would've been thrown out for lack of evidence and if it somehow made it to trial a defense attorney for Kavanaugh would destroy Ford

I’ve literally never cut the ABA a check. As soon as my free intro period ended, I pored over their mailer to figure out what I was getting to justify the fee. The value proposition didn’t work, so I threw it, and every subsequent mailer, in the trash.

ABA turned into a lobbying group 10 years ago. LBA followed pace and turned into one around 2014. I had the sad experience of sitting in the meeting when someone said “we are not a group that lobbies for a specific bill”. Needless to say we were discussing a bill and it was the last meeting I ever attended. Both the ABA and the LBA from their inception were”built” to be non partisan representations of the practice. They both realized that there were a ton of lawyers involved in the governmental process , but no kne had a bipartisan voice. Sadlly that ended several years ago.

That is why I haven't been a member of the ABA for the last 25 years.

But they won't do it because that would require real evidence that actually corroborates the claim.

In other words, they're chickenshit cowards that just want to sling shite.
