Joe and Ja’Marr could restructure and take one dollar a year

They literally can’t do that
The FDA is run by a guy who admitted in court documents that he had brain worms and that they had eaten so much of his brain that he was unemployable.

Excuse me while I completely ignore everything the FDA says for the next few years

The local ranch I buy from is $7 a pound for ground beef, which is a whole $1 more than I paid in 2019. Grass fed ground beef is $6.30 a pound at Sam's, up from 5.99 a year ago. Gives me the vapors, I tell you.

You must live in a weird part of the country. 80/20 ground beef has gone from $3.99 to $6.99 where I live over the past year or so

You realize you’re responding to yourself, right?
So we get to make fun of Alabama fans for missing the playoffs. Again.

I realize that you’re a Bama fan and, almost certainly, have below average intelligence, but this isn’t hard to understand
You’re a fan of an SEC team, post on this website, and don’t recognize Mark Ingram? That’s kinda weird

You thought it was some random person giving the “sideline reporter” bunny ears lol
Yeah, that was Mark Ingram and another fox sports commentator
Why is a professor of operations management on a vaccine advisory panel?

Republicans poured in more outside money than Democrats in this election

Trump won’t this district by 22 points. Last night the Republicans won by 9 points

And Republicans poured in more outside money to keep the seat. This doesn’t bode well for Republicans in 2026

Ole Miss played the easiest schedule in the league.

And went 11-1

Vandy played a very weak schedule and went 10-2. Their best wins are against Mizzou with a backup QB and an unimpressive UT team with a lot of injuries and a D2 QB.

If want to make the playoffs you need to do something impressive. Nothing Vandy has done this year was impressive.

Simple as that
Vandy played a ridiculously easy SEC schedule. Your best win is Missouri and that’s not saying a lot. UT was meh this year and was your second best win.

Vandy didn’t do anything to impress anyone this season
In McCarthy’s defense in the Packers game he had a concussion. Somebody should’ve caught it and pulled him, but he kept playing

So your whole point was that Heupel’s offensive scheme is being figured out and won’t work long term. And you just provided a very specific analysis of offensive efficiency for 2025 and UT’s offense is listed as the 12th most efficient in the country

UT brought in a D2 QB in the summer before the season and produced the 12 most efficient offense (according to your specifications) and 6th best in total offense (according to ESPN) and you’re claiming Heupel’s offense is somehow failing.

How stupid are you?

You claimed that looking at points per possession somehow takes “out the element of scheme”. Scheme/coaching plus talent equals total offensive output. Looking at points per possession doesn’t magically eliminate the element of scheme

quote:

That's the point, he didn't do that and it wasn't the 6th best offense in the country

But he did. He took lesser talent and produced the sixth best offensive output in the country. He also took that talent and produced more ppg than UGA against tougher defenses.

Now you’re claiming UGA was better per possession in SEC (while providing no links) which may be true considering UT played better defenses. Got some links?

Finally, you’ve shifted to saying that Heupel’s offense doesn’t work because it hurts the defense. Explain why UT’s defense was significantly better the past two years than this year? The only logical explanation is defensive injuries this year

But lowly UGA had more points per offensive drive vs SEC opponents than Tennessee, straight up and adjusted for opponent averages. That takes out the element of scheme.

How the hell does that “take out the element of scheme”?

Heupel just took a D2 QB, put him in the offense for a few months, and produced the sixth best offense in the country. And you’re claiming Heupel’s offense is becoming less effective

It’s pretty obvious you have no idea what you’re talking about

ETA: UT scored more per game in SEC play than UGA despite playing tougher SEC defenses

I don't think Heupel's a bad coach. But he is a coach who gained his position by using a relatively uncommon scheme. That works for a while, until enough opponents take it seriously and devote time to stopping it, and then it becomes less effective.

Our returning QB tried to blackmail us and went out and got a D2 QB this past summer. UT is sixth in total offense for 2025.

The problem isn’t UT’s offense or Heupel’s scheme

f he doesn't make changes it would become a problem. You have to remember we're fresh off butch Jones ans Dooley. We'll give him a pass this year but do expect changes on the defense

You talking as if I’m not the actual UT fan in this conversation

ETA: also really weird how don’t mention that we are actually fresh off of Jeremy Pruitt, the coach that preceded Heupel and was probably the worst coach in UT’s history
