Imagine the melt on this board if Avenatti and his client march into the Montgomery county police station and file a complaint.

If you asked Julie Swetnick to name three people who went to Georgetown Prep whose names haven’t been in the news, she’d fail.

She’s from 15 miles away in a very middle class town of Montgomery Village. She maybe could have got a job parking cars at a Georgetown Prep Party.

They didn’t call her. She didn’t know them. She’s three years older than Kav. Meaning she was a college sophomore when she was partying with these Georgetown Prep kids allegedly.

None of it happened. She’s completely crazy. And Avenatti just ruined her life.

The ABA has been pretty left leaning and active in leftist politics for a while.

I pray that he does, his client would be confessing to several chargeable adult felonies while describing non-chargeable juvenile crimes, would be glorious but I don't think even Avanti is that dumb....

I could be wrong...

So there’s no crime in lying to Congress?

If you’re under oath and lie to Congress, yeah, that’s a crime. But judge never went under oath - he gave a sworn statement to Congress. Now, in some jurisdictions in some circumstances a court will accept a sworn statement and lying in one could be a crime. But sworn statements are usually only used in uncontested legal proceedings. Never heard of someone going to jail for lying in a sworn statement to Congress over some matter that’s in dispute.

Generally, if there’s a dispute between two sides a judge will require that a witness be subject to cross-examination. Sworn statements don’t allow for that. The fact that Judge is trying to prevent being questioned on the matter is telling
