If you don't understand how supply and demand impact the medical field, just say so instead of deflecting.

Well one thing they don't mention is these universal healthcare countries don't allow the immigration we do and deny people with health problems.

A huge problem with England’s government run healthcare is medical care professional’s salary is set by the government. So a nurse makes what a preschool teacher makes. So it’s a hard job with the pay of much easier jobs which had led to huge shortages.
The government makes everything worse.
When I say our doctors and nurses make more it's because it's fact and it's throwing shade at universal healthcare folks. It's not like the cost goes down when the government is involved.

Never once commented on the content of the video. Couldnt get past the weeee. Everyone with a luke warm IQ knows universal health has never and will never be the answer. Also true : health insurance is America is a joke.

Universal healthcare doesn't work with open borders
Healthcare where you pay for it doesn't even work here because paw paw that has money and insurance will wait 6 hours having a heart attack in the emergency room lobby behind illegals with runny noses and medicaid people saying their belly hurts so they can see their babies on ultrasound
the entire "safety net" needs to be cut

And yes, even though Europeans love to mock our healthcare, theirs sucks too. I would bet that rich Canadians do the same as rich Americans and they go to Mayo and other top tier hospitals for their serious ailments.
You are correct. Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic and several other high end American health care clinics have facilities in London.

My wife, (The Canadian), speaks of this regularly. Her mother, grandmother, and sister are/were nurses. It is much worse than sweet tits said in her video.
My MIL has private health insurance because their level of care is different than the government system.

Fair enough.

Agreed on both accounts. What I think most fail to see is how the health insurance industry is actually driving costs up by being so costly for medical professionals and facilities to deal with (averaging about 25% of healthcare costs coming from your physician or facility). Add to this that the fricking AMA and AAMC discouraged expansion of medical schools in the 70s and 80s (because they were worried about too much competition in the field) so we ended up with fewer medical professionals to replace lose that left the industry and government expanded Medicare/caid more and more... and you end up with the costly system we have now.

And we basically cover their pharmaceutical costs. I do think Trump should straight up pass legislation stating the US will only pay the average cost of all European countries. Have hearings. Make all of those fricking CEOs explain why we are paying for everyone else.
Big Pharma can raise the price on Europe or eat it but an EpiPen $680 here and $80 in the UK. We are paying for their pharmaceuticals. This needs to stop.

I’m sorry Ma’amory, you were saying?

I had a Canadian somewhere in a youtube comment section last year arguing with me and mocking America for not having a healthcare system like theirs. You know, "free" healthcare?
My response was short and simple. Doctors don't work for free, and medicine isn't produced for free. Someone has to pay for that, and that would be the taxpayers. So if you ever wonder why you can't afford anything, that's why.
He never replied. People don't stop to think anything through, so the minute you make them think, they just freeze up.

Our hospital emergency rooms are overrun with Illegal Immigrants. First step is not serving them. Removing Illegal Immigrants from access to healthcare in America would make costs plummet and services would become more accessible for Americans as well.

Heart attacks and breathing issues are moved to the front of the line. If Paw Paw cut himself or fell, that’s a different story.

This was many years ago but i went up to play golf in Canada and got paired with a doctor on a Thursday. I asked him how he was off and said that he is not allowed to work for 3 months and he does not get paid either.
He only works 9 months and sees as many patients as possible. He is paid a smaller amount because the government controls his pay and workload.

universal healthcare
I used to think this was the way it should be ... but I've found that:
It's not good for people who really need healthcare like my wife who has had RA since she was 13 (she's 52 now).
It's not good for most elderly who need healthcare damn near everyday.
And it's not good for you and I who are relatively healthy and only need to see the doctor every so often.
It's expensive and it sucks but for now, the way we do it here in the States is the best way.
