I care because this board used to be a place where most of the content was decent discussion policy. Now, it’s not much more than a right wing version of Reddit.

And yet here you are coming on a post without actually commenting on the hideous nature of the actions undertaken by person in the post

The Republicans should open the door for Trump to add 4.

I would love for a senator to make a bill to increase SCOTUS by four seats and watch every democrat scream. Get them on record at least for later.

Drop the bill after they go on all the talk shows and everyone screams bloody murder. At least these lying POS will be on record ...not that it matters to them.

Or, is more like a legal drinking age?

You raise an interesting point. Can you explain why the government decreed that the legal drinking age is 21 when it was 18?

You are old enough to fight and die for your country but cannot sit down and have a beer?

As with everything else, it is a shift from parental responsibility to government takeover. Over the last many years, parenting has almost ceased to the control of the government karens telling us what is best for us.

And...once again the board idiot posts.

sheesh you need a break.

And MAGA largely supports a strong police state, on the domestic level (just look at all the "law and order" threads)

You get downvoted by such a large amount for absurd statements like this all the time. In fact, you are absolutely the most tiresome poster here but, not the dumbest.

MAGA and republicans are definitely not for a "police state" as you stated. They are for compliance with the laws on the books. The fact that you do know the difference and yet choose those words is typical.

You have a valid fairness point here. However, the overall point, that the rich use loans to defer paying capital gain

I am far from the person that has too much money

But I did borrow against my stocks but that transaction is completely separate and apart from capital gains

I also had to pay it back or lose the stocks and I do not believe that I deducted the interest payment for that versus the home equity

Is this judge effectively telling the DOJ and the IRS they cannot ever settle his lawsuit with Trump

I notice the UK media is throwing “racist!” around

The reality is it is not about race

It is about religion
quote:

remember seeing that the reason given for black jurors being struck during voir dire was that the blacks responded to the questions that they were too knowledgable of the case pretrial publicity and media stories...

There are two types of ways for a jury to get stricken by a prosecutor

The first is for cause meaning the juris somehow prejudice

The second is for a preemptory challenge and I do not know how many the prosecutor has but I think in almost every state it has to be a race neutral reason and I will say that school teachers are not good on juries

She is a Harvard Law professor

I have found that any statements made by any professor at any of these institutions are absolute nuts who tried to use their DEI position of importance to dictate life to others
Oh look another idiot

Why not read the actual evidence
I try not to respond to you but every once in awhile you say something that is so outside the bounds that a reply is necessary

Am sure you didn't want the internment of Japanese addressed or slavery or any of the other wrongs done.

You really are an insufferable idiot far beyond just normal idiots

Apparently it's all over now

The global climate architecture is undergoing a profound reorganization. Ocean waters across the equatorial Pacific are warming at a breakneck pace, signaling the arrival of an El Niño event that is breaking traditional meteorological rules.

it is a massive, structural shift in the coupled ocean-atmosphere system of the tropical Pacific. The implications of this shift act as a planetary steering wheel, altering the trajectory of the jet stream, dictating the intensity of hurricane seasons thousands of miles away, and swinging the pendulum between extreme moisture and severe, multi-year droughts across North America.

at what % range reduction allowable? if by 10 years they say the bat is not bad, but range is 1/3 of what it was, how do you go forward? by then bet finding a replacement battery will be like the board in the 4 year old washer, unavailable

Im not sure how "range works in a hybrid - perhaps it loses potency but is continually recharging while driving

I did not see any limiting language like in battery or tire purchases but I'll look again it assume it also would have to be "defective " for replacement

Cannot have antitrust in this situation

I assume he knows that but is just pandering
I bought a hybrid amd they guarantee that battery for 10 years

In what specific ways? Curious about your reasoning and logic
I wonder if he has had his first arse pounding yet

I don’t disagree. I also don’t understand how a private governing body can be over ruled by courts and lawyers.

More importantly, what is pacxton doing in this - how does the state of Texas have to do with private conferences refusing to play

This is such a bad look for Paxton
