It didn't help that Brandon Harris couldn't hit the side of a barn with his throws. Who can't forget his ultra high throw to Travin Dural in the end zone where he injured his hamstring when he landed on his back, causing his leg to snap back on impact.

You're correct. I always wondered why Riley played sooner over Sheppard since I thought Sheppard was the better LB. Sheppard ended up with the better career anyway and played longer in the NFL.

Yes, Kelvin Sheppard and Perry Riley, signed with LSU back in 2006 out of Stone Mountain's Stephenson H.S. Both redshirted and stayed 5 years before moving on to the NFL.
Wouldn't the ticks die from falling an airplane or jet above 10,000 feet or higher?

Great. Let's show the bad guys the methods, techniques and analytics that we use to rescue downed pilots, thus screwing future pilots that have to be rescued.

That's right. 1st loss to end the 23 game winning streak was against UC-Irvine in game 1 of the Super Regionals. Was that the game where UCI pulled that stupid arse hidden ball trick and the umpire erroneously called the LSU baserunner at 2nd base out, prompting Javy Lopez explode in anger at the 2nd base ump?
I remember it started with the Georgia series. LSU was behind in either game 1 or 2 and managed to tie it. THEN, they went on a 23-0 run with their first loss in the CWS against UNC.
