I buy a new gun every time I have a kid. On number 3 now. I'm hoping I don't have to buy anymore guns.
ETA: but I do have a few more bucket list guns I'd like to get, at which point I'd feel comfortable with what I have. M1A, 1911, and 1892, and I'm done. I have enough of everything else.

Only thing I don’t have is an over and under shotgun
If you’re talking about the old Savage over and unders, my dad passed me a Savage 24S-D a couple of years ago. It’s a 22mag over 20 gauge (the old style with the barrels braised(?) together). It’s in pretty good shape and quickly became one of my favorite walking around guns, basically due to it’s versatility. It’s the model with the selector switch on the hammer.
I love that thing and I wish I had bought a bunch of them when they were easy to find.
He has another one, but I forget what the combination is (but I think it was a centerfire over 12 gauge).
To the op…never feel like I have all I want. Just bought a Browning BL-22 a few weeks ago and now have the itch for a new Marlin 357 lever. I’ll probably pick one up in a few weeks. It’ll be a good host for my Wolfman can. The only drawback is needing to stockpile ammo for a new caliber that I don’t have (don’t hate on me downshift).

According to the ole lady, I tend to one more myself with guns and beer too much...

been there for a long time.
I have enough firearms, accessories and ammo for the rest of my life; I actually need to downsize
if you hunt often though (I don’t anymore) there will always be room for more

Never. I have over 60 with 11 cans and buy more. My Liberty Colonial 50 is slap arse full. Wife won’t let me get another safe.

Yes, and then I start buying bows and air rifles (just ordered one today).

Still go to every gun show I remember to. One day before I get too old I’ll go to the big one in Tulsa OK.
Anybody ever been to that?
My father in law has been going the last few years to that. Said he's never seen anything like it. Said it's amazing.
I finished a Wilson AR (thanks to the PSA posted here last year) a few weeks ago and was taking it to the range to sight it in and run it through its paces.
Was talking to my mom on the way home, telling her what i was doing. She said, why do you need another one of those (referring to ARs). I responded to her telling her that I didn't "need" it but I wanted it. There's not much I need, but a lot of stuff I want. Asked her if she needed the 50 pairs of shoes she has or needed all the purses she has.
She shut up after that.

This is likely my my next gun, can't decide what brand or what caliber to go with. Would rather not add another caliber to my safe, currently have 308, 9, 22, and 5.56

I picked up an early 80s Winchester '94 in 30-30 last year. Got it in a trade and the plan was to sell it. After shooting it a bit it became my go to gun when hunting the woods. Shot 3 deer with it last year, really easy to tote in the tree.

I was, then I lost them all in a boating accident, guess I’ll have to start over

Thought I was done, but now I want a gun with a 20" barrel that shoots the new 7mm Backcountry round.

That Chiappa Rhino looks like a pretty cool gun, but I'm curious how practical it is. I was almost to the point where I was ready to buy one awhile back but ended up with a FNX 45 instead. I don't care if it's practical or not, it's a gun that would be fun to buy and customize.

No. No man. shite no man.
I believe you'd get your arse kicked for saying something like that.

Sometimes I think I could really hang out and be good friends with a lot of people on here. Then I read this shite

After 15 years of buying I have slowed down on my purchases about a decade ago. Beside the firearm itself. I have at least 10k rounds and 10-20 magazines for the firearm. There are still a couple of items I can see my buying.
