re: Ranger vs Express aluminum

I have a 2015 RT188 and I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s been reliable, rides great, fishes very stable, deck is laid out like a glass boat, cupped prop and ground off hull tabs and I can hit 52-53 by myself. It has a 12 degree dead rise instead of 10 degree like other mod V aluminums. Now the there’s a pad hull version of the RT188. That would be nice, but again I couldn’t be happier with this boat.

We’re even seeing core ultras with almost no GPU this year.

Which ones are those?

ETA: not trying to hijack but in the market so curious to know.

It's separating and peeling in spots already.

Same, locking joints are cracking and causing all kinds of issues. Would not do it again.

First option is to ask him what his rate is.

re: Searing Steaks- First or Last

Anything outside of a filet I actually don't sear anymore. Cook on medium heat for the proper temperatures and it will make a nice crust, that's not burnt, if the steak has been properly dried and salted before cooking.
I bought the Hoka Clifton 9's when the 10's came out since they raised the heel drop in the 10's to 8mm. Prefer the 5mm drop of the 9's. Happy with them.
Went look at the RGB vs regular TV's the other day while killing time. They didn't have the settings dialed in but the RGB TV's were very bright with intense color. Worth the price over the normal tech? I don't think so.

I prefer mini-led over OLED, however from my eye test the Sony Bravia 8 II and the Samsung S95D are the best looking TV's I've put my own eyes on.

That said, the new glare free tech on the Samsung screens is supposedly very delicate, so cleaning it may cause issues. Something to consider.

Then look at the lowest rated reviews for trends. I generally pay attention to cleanliness complaints and ignore those about customer service. I assume no one want to live in filth and will point it out. I assume most customer service complaints are due to the customer being an a-hole.

Spot on
I generally will look at reviews, and if I get something like you posted, will do further research to see if I can add credence to them, such as from reddit, youtube, etc.. If those other sources share similar types of experiences then I add that into my overall consideration.

Do you have family or a village you trust around you?

We did a week away last year because we needed a break / recharge from the kids also. We are blessed enough to have family that took care of the kids for us while we were gone. Kept them on their school schedule, etc..

Can y’all take this to the slam poetry board?

Mellow Joy is pretty gyude
What about those of the Hispanic variety
Manhattan.

Vermouth goes bad faster than I can drink it, so making one at home ends up being a waste of money for me. I'll order it every chance I get where someone else is stocking the inventory.

Yea but some of these big portables weigh upwards of 400 pounds. Lugging that thing out can become an issue

Thanks for your help. I just wanted to get an idea of the brand's that are the better ones and any info on what to stay away from. I value real world experience over sales hype.

From a quality standpoint Kohler and Cummins are up there. My only gripe about Cummins is they are thirsty compared to the rest. Honeywell is basically a rebranded Generac. Briggs gets love and hate. There are several people down my street with Briggs units and they love them.

You need to identify what is available in your area and who has the best dealer / service resources in your area.

Generac is so popular because their price is competitive and they have the largest service network by far.

Kohler is known for having delays in getting parts when needed. That's something to consider.

Regarding overall cost, where you put it relative to your utilities matters. For example if you want to put the generator on the opposite side of your house from your utilities, you are looking at an extra grand or two just in wire / gas pipe, so as stated cost will vary based on your specific installation.
