They actually mention quite a few things they did in the year between the two stories, and the Spring Sickness happens during that time as well.

I guess I had forgotten that. I remember the gist of the story, but it's been a while since last reading them.

Dunk & Egg will go to Dorne

The Sworn Sword takes place in The Reach, not Dorne

please don't frick this up

:banghead:

I get it, they ran out of material for GoT.

But you’ve got the story for Dunk and Egg and it’s a fricking great story. Stick to the damn script.
That Kid is criminally underrated thanks to a shite defense

Savage Axis II Pro in 6.5 CM - whitetail doe x 11, two bucks.

Ranged from 50 or so yards to 295 yards
Just remember you don’t need to shoot subs out of a pistol.

I want to shoot something like that. Why’s your buddy have it? He after hippos?

Well, one, he enjoys shooting big bores. Two, he goes to Africa every 2-3 years, so it’s possible. Likely will try for an elephant before a hippo

I’ve shot my buddy’s .458 Lott. It was stout.

I can shoot Nilgai all year long so usually hold out for a very large mature bull and my 550 lb scale is not big enough to weigh them.

This is out of my Falkor so it’s a shorter barrel. Think it’s a 20 inch or could be 18 inch.

That's interesting. I know you'll lose some speed with the shorter barrel, but you should still be 2400+ fps at 100 yards, and with that bullet I'd think that's plenty to drive it through.

don't overthink it

get a 300 Win Mag. Mine has become my go-to rifle. It loves the cheap arse Norma Whitetail 150 grain ammo, so I use it for deer, and switch to 200 grain Federal Terminal Ascent for long distance shots.

It costs double your price range but why not?

It must suck for you clowns when LSU comes back and wins.

Like the Coon Carnage thread, but better!

Dunk the lunk, thick as a castle wall
I’ll throw out what I have, a Christensen Ridgeline Ti in .300 Win Mag with a Burris Signature HD 3-15x scope. It has been quite effective on elk and antelope out to 500 yards. It’s lightweight and shoots great.
