re: Tell me about .22 caliber pistols - RoIITide
I have a fullsize M&P 22 that Walther made when they first came out. When I’m on the 4 wheeler or just out around the house, it is on me. Love it.....but would’ve bought the compact if it had been out back then. ...

re: Conceal carry Glock 19 - RoIITide
If you are thinking that a Glock 19 is what you want...with the absolute reliability and capacity that it has.. go ahead and get it. Forget about the single stacks for now. I carry a shield daily and can admit that a single stack is a little easier to carry. That said, if you go for a single st...

re: Honda Knockoff Carb for 2003 Honda Foreman - RoIITide
I have a 2004 Honda Rincon and just rebuilt the carb. I was glad I did that instead of buying the knockoff
I’ve got a 2003 Rincon I bought new and about 5 years ago it got to the point it wouldn’t run but about 10mph tops. Wouldn’t rev up but half throttle either. I actually boug...

re: Honda Knockoff Carb for 2003 Honda Foreman - RoIITide
The clone will probably work just fine, but it might not give you the next 15 years (or more) of life like the oem. My dad replaced his 2001 Rancher oem with a clone a couple of years ago...I borrowed his rancher to ride during this quarantine and it started leaking gas. I took it off and disassem...

re: OT PHOTOGRAPHERS: Sony, Canon, or Nikon? Help me pick a new camera - RoIITide
I like Canon mid/higher end dslr’s but also have Sony and a Fuji p&s. It’ll be easier to find used quality glass/accessories if you go Nikon or Canon - but you can’t go wrong with whatever you decide on. Sony used to get dinged for not having a ton of non-sony accessories that didn’t work as well a...
Good Lord, I hope none of y'all have young kids.
Shield 9, lcp, m&p 22 (the original full-size made by Walther) All on top of grandfather clock. Most there with kids who are both over 13 now. When mine were probably 9 & 10’ish - I pullled out a several rifles, shotguns and...

re: Crisis Generator questions. - RoIITide
Check out the Dual Fuel Champion 3500 watt. Sams club regularly has them for $350. You can use propane or gas. We have 2 of the regular gas only models and they start 1st pull and mine is probably 7 years old and my dad’s maybe 10. 3500 watts is plenty for what you say you need and they wil...

re: Can someone school me on fishing for beginners? - RoIITide
I’m talking rod and reel, different tackle, the works. I’ve only ever been with friends and always had to use their equipment so I’m pretty clueless on what all I would need. Ideally I’d like to have setups for both freshwater and saltwater fishing. I understand it can get expensive, but any ...
where do you make your purchase?
I usually order online....several from Palmetto State Armory. Ship to a local ffl dealer (pawn shop in my case). Since you have several you are looking at - it would probably be better to go handle them all at a local gun shop and purchase it ther...

re: New to kayak fishing - RoIITide
I use the H2O mettle baitcaster combos from Academy. They are less than $50 on sale and they have held up for years. I have Shimano Calcutta and Curado stuff but wouldn’t risk losing them from my yak. I use a couple of cheap bright orange soft tackle bags from Walmart that will float a little....
