One or our baws posted recently that he has melanoma, and he urged everyone to wear sunscreen.

What are you all using? I am doing a lot more outdoors and have been using spray on Banana Boat (SPF 30). I just upgraded (I think) to Sun Bum (70 cream for face, 50 spray for the rest).

I can Chat GPT it or Google it, but I would like to hear what people actually use and how it works.

You definitely want a metallic based sunscreen. It’s a physical barrier to UV which is the better than chemical.

TiZO Sunscreen

It was recommended by my dermatologist after I told her how much I hate wearing sunscreen. It's good stuff. Not cheap.

Don’t recall but I use 70 on my face, ears, and neck and 50 on my body. I wear a lot of sun shirts as well so I don’t always need sunscreen.

+1 for the CeraVe tinted mineral. I try to avoid chemical sunscreens because I don't like the possible carcinogens in those. La Roche Posay is the best at blending in without looking like makeup but the price tag reflects that

US sunscreen is way behind the times.

Buy Korean. Seriously.

We’ve used Neutrogena aerosol for years with good results.

I recently grabbed a travel sized spray on Banana Boat Sport (SPF 30). Used it daily for a week on face, arms, and neck. No sunburn. The best thing I can say about was I never thought about it again after application. No greasiness or burning eyes.
