Unlike Massachusetts, in Illinois the defense has the burden to prove insanity by clear and convincing evidence.

This issue is how NGRI is set up in Massachusetts. Yates is in Texas. It's a massive difference.

The reddit post said it perfectly. The court proceeds should move forward as they are(Massachusetts criminal procedure for NGRI should be changed 100%) but women shouldn't be cheerleading her. It's psycho.
