At this stage in life, I would take France, at least if I could live in the 16th or 8th arrondissement.
I love Europe and my wife loves France in particular. I imagine we would get homesick after a while but weekend trips all over Europe would be quite a bit of fun.

Paris FR would be awesome for a month. I’ve only spent a week at a time there and felt I could spend another 3 weeks easy.
As far as a place to reside of course Paris TX.

Lol at the people saying Texas.
If I had the means to live in Paris France I would in a heartbeat.

I just went to Paris France last week. What an amazing city. Didn’t get bedbugs or hear anything about them either
Not sure if I’d want to live there though

What is the time frame? I could survive a year or so in either if it was for work or something.
If it is a permanent thing, I would have to choose Texas.

I live close to Paris, TX on the north side of the Red. If you want to move to Paris, TX then I'd suggest Honey Grove. Paris is ok but Honey Grove is a great little town and school system and uts close to Bois D'Arc Lake (a new reservoir that is being set up as a bass fishing haven).

This is just big town vs small town and US vs non US
The better question is which Paris (in the USA) is the best.
I think there is a Paris in at least half of the US states.
Seems Ohio has a Paris but you would have to live in Ohio.

Which you don't. So, just drive to Tawakoni or Bob Sandlin, fish, and hush.

Good lake but Bois D'Arc is going to be fire.

By a fountain, back in Rome
I fell in love with you
In a small cafe in Athens
You said you loved me too
And it was April in Paris
When I first held you close to me
Rome, Georgia, Athens, Texas
And Paris, Tennessee
No, we're not the jet set
We're the old Chevrolet set
Love both the original and the John Prine cover.

Paris Tx ...has Gene Stallings. That alone makes it a better place than Paris Fr

When I was in my 20’s- France
Now in my late 40’s- Texas. I hate people and I appreciate peace and quiet.

I’ve never been to Paris, TX, but I can’t imagine it’s better than Paris, France. Give me Paris, France.

Who the hell wants to live in Europe?

Paris, Tx any day.
I can’t imagine why a person would want to live anywhere in France. Visit, yes. Reside, no.
